I guess it’s hard to resist Ganzo’s FH41 and FH51. However, I found the Sanrenmu 9165 on your blog and this one seem to be the right thing. Sandvik 12C27 steel, carbon fibre handle and slipjoint with removable lock pin for the price of a tasty steak meal. Moreover, this knife will be conform to Germany‘s (stupid) §42a.
Can anyone help me to pick the right seller? I saw it here for a bit less and customer feedback is quite good.
You already asked me the same question. Yes it is but not too much thanks to the holes. The biggest mistake from this knife is that you can’t unscrew the thumb-stud…
The thumb stud is looking like the same construction as the one used on the SRM Land 910 series but more resembling to the SRM 710s studs.
That’s a screwed construction One side is held in a D-shaped hole, the other one is the screw head.
IIRC the one to turn was on the locking side so it won’t unscrew from opening.
You should heat up the lugs and apply some tape onto you pliers. It really sucks to scratch a satinized blade that way.
STM 6040 on keyring. In pocket at all times.
Good for anything small.
In car under side of drivers seat. a 5in Divers Knife in sheath.
and a collapsible security stick.
Decades ago. Just a Remington 870 with 20 in barrel.
Very few argued with her.
