There's been a very positive review of the C8 here, I hope yours is as good as FlashPilot's. The RQ-07 is one of the nicer P60 lights (Seraph clone) and the dropin which is presumably the same as Brted's and mine is very good.
Have fun dazzling things tonight! I imagine it will be dark soon, it isn't very light here already.
Congratulations on your new lights. I have now doubts that you will like them. Dont forget to remove the dropin from your RQ and wrap it tightly in foil before you go out to play. The best news yet is that there seems to be some consistency in high drive currents among these XM-L's. For others thinking about it, buy now before the manufacturer screws up the design on later batches.
They are much better than my R5, P7 and UltraFire WF-501B MC-E (BIN M). The only light I have that is better is my 5xR2 dropin Ultrafire. Both have great spill, but the C8 throw better because of the big reflector.
@cabfrank, I dont think the RQ is brighter, It feels like the C8 is brighter.
The answer is simple .. the more correct amperage draw would always be the highest one .. if it was an incorrect reading the only reading that could be wrong is the lower one .. simple logic says this as true ..
I've been wrong before but see this as a real easy one .. thanks for the simple ones .. that's the only ones i ever get right ...
