Non Flashlight orders/received

That is exactly what I thought - the products I have are still great, even after years of use. Even weight and overall logos, engravings, material seem either the same or very similar.

They’re still flashing at 21-22bux, so anyone wants, have at it.

Btw, anyone ever play with this Cima?

I got a coupla these a while back, too, and like ’em. It’s got a flax handle, and even though it was a bit eerie at first, never having seen/felt one before, it’s also quite nice. Nice “natural” feel, hard to describe. Feels almost cloth-covered, actually “soft” to the touch, yet rigid.

I got one of those a couple of years ago - agree with you - feel I got my moneys worth

The Cima? Had to laff at the last video on the GB page. That guy (Rob Something) beat the crap out of it and it still came through fine.

Batoning some firewood with it, fine. Hammering it into a log and standing on it, with one/both feet, and hopping up’n’down on it? :open_mouth:

Get a few of those and you could become a lineman.

Seems they’re both some pretty kick-ass knives, as long as they don’t turn into rust-magnets. Right now, I’m pretty happy with both types.

Hey, Gerbers under 20bux each if you spring for 2 or more.

Flashing for 21.something, and 10% off for ordering 2+. Total’s 19.something each.

Finally received my upgraded CPAP machine after more than 5 years with the ResMed S9 model which is discontinued. Medicare balked after a sleep study reported that I probably wouldn’t die from sleep apnea. My pulmonologist tore them a new A-hole about quality of life and my previous A-fib surgery possibly being related to the sleep apnea.

The newer AirSense10 Autoset just came today. It seems a bit more plasticky, especially in the water chamber which I’ve seen online has leakage problems. I’ll give it a go tonight after a turn in the SoClean 2

Iffn you gotta get old, get good doctors.

I used to have sleep apnea, and I had a CPAP machine that need to be replaced.

I had to do another sleep study to get a new CPAP machine, and it turned out that I no longer have sleep apnea, and my insurance would not cover another CPAP machine.

I had to buy my own CPAP machine with my own money!

I chose the Fisher & Paykel ICON Auto for $510 in 2014.

It seems to get the job done, so I think it was a good choice.

Got the Fireside Friend with a 4 lb head.

My wife way like that. Right now she just kicks me in the back to start me breathing again when I do an apnea. :confounded:

Picked up this little mosquito zapper / lantern:

Picked up these cheap little Dayton speakers. I needed something small to fit on my TV cart beside the TV. Even though they have only 4” drivers, they sound more musical than my old DefTechs. Right now I have them crossed over at 80 Hz to the sub - still need to do some more listening and tweaking. They are not very efficient and have 4 Ohm impedance, so they give my old AV receiver a bit of a workout, but I have plenty of headroom since it’s a fairly small listening/viewing area - no need for very high volume. For $70 bucks, I’m happy.

My 10yr old Vitamix is still going strong, but the 64oz container had seen better days. Ordered a new one.

Ordered a Seagate USB powered Backup Plus 5TB Portable Hard Drive with Rescue Data Recovery Services from Costco for $99 plus tax. With all the media I have, it’s cheap insurance if my house got robbed or burned down. I already have a few backups but this is a guarantee I will never lose my data. I will keep this hard drive in my safety deposit box I have at my local bank. Better safe than sorry.

I have a bunch of these, in different colors.

They're my hard drive of choice.

Picked up a small Nespresso machine for those times when I’m in a hurry or don’t feel like firing up my big Breville manual espresso rig.

Pete, looks great! What is the model #?

Had LeafFilter installed on my gutters yesterday. They will prevent debris from trees from clogging up the gutters and leaders which can cause water leakage into the house. I know from experience.

Essenza Mini. Amazon currently has it on sale for $76:

I think some local stores such as Target may offer it at similar price.

Pete, thanks! I’ll order it from Amazon. I have a Prime account.

Cool.

Between Nespresso and Keurig, the taste of Nespresso beats Keurig hands down, IMO, although Nespresso capsules are a bit more expensive. I’ve heard Peet’s capsules work well in these machines and sometimes go on sale for a lot less than the original Nespresso ones. I’ll be picking some up next time they go on sale.
