Emisar D4v2 leaked

That’s exactly what I do.
Unlike you: “21350”

So read, instead of rant.

IMO D4 should remain 18650, and D4S/D1/D1S should get 21700 tube makes more sense due to head size

Cyan color please

the ss bezel looks really cool.

The gold ano should had been some darker gold, like a mix of copper-gold ano. Maybe a little bit more dim than this example.

shame no lighted switch, they could have done like ff e07 match aux leds with switch color too, that would look even better.

Looks interesting. I hope it has a configurable ramp ceiling.

.

I agree with you, that a lit switch would look cool. . However, I think a recessed switch, something the E07 and the present D4 lacks, somewhat makes up for the switch not being illuminated. It makes it easy to find the switch and makes it less likely to be accidentally switched on in your pocket, should you forget to lock it out.

I second the motion.

Looks like a “must-buy”. Hope it comes with Anduril.

Hoping for more 7135’s in the driver - that would be awesome.

This is the one thing that would entice me to buy more D4’s. My current D4’s don’t get used much, primarily because I prefer regulated output.
If the new D4 has higher regulated output and Anduril, I guess I could stop worrying about the FW3A optic debacle.

FW3A optic debacle? Maybe I shouldn’t ask… Really enjoying my FW3A…

Not a problem unless you’re planning to order more, though.

I don’t think there was much feedback before about a lighted switch being a priority. There was some about aux LED’s.

Also, the current button on the D4 has a pretty good feel as it clicks - much better than the lighted button on the ROT66. I don’t have a Q8 to compare to. Either way, if fitting LED’s on the relatively small button of the D4 adversely affects the feel of the button, I’d vote to keep the better feeling switch.

Yeah, the D4 switch is really nice. Perhaps the best E-switch I have ever used.

Yes.

The thing that would make this even better would be a 3x7135+FET driver.

That would be good.

I’d love to see a 1+3+FET for a nice low moonlight.

If this matched the FW3A with a 1+7+FET, it would be almost perfect.

Roughly how many lumens would a 3x take us up to? I really love the ~800lm level of the FW3A, however 400lm like the D4S would be acceptable.
