ordered one and will be putting a video or two up on youtube on this thing soon. Suppose to be hear the 21st of this month. Only real thrower I have left is the TN42 so will most likely compare. I have a couple lux meters and will try to do the calculation of throw and lux @ 4 meters away. Also have the sphere and curious if it will give an accurate reading for lumens.
My Lux meter has always read lower than everyone elses. Not sure mine is right. Anyway I measured my W30 at 100ft and got 1.04million lux. I kinda feel like the number is bit too low.
Just watched your review on your YouTube channel. Great review! The w30 is a beast of a thrower.
do you have a link for the high CRI beam on the W10? also what color temp is the high CRI beam?
Can someone tell me the beam size at some distance, for example 100 yds? My calculations keep saying around ten feet at that distance, but the videos I’ve seen make it seem tighter than that. Thanks for the help.

I watched your video on youtube. Great review as always. I like how you show what the light looks light being shot back at the camera from a distance. Pretty crazy. Makes me think of this video I saw of a cop shining his light in a guys face. The cop was being rude for no reason. The guy then took out a much more powerful flashlight and shined the cop in the face. The cop backed off and put his flashlight away. It probably would have ended differently if this light was shown in the cops face though. Its almost assault level of brightness.
this is TRULY too much throw! I would worry about pilots’ eyes when wielding this thing!
Anyone know if Acebeam has shipped the high cri w30 version? I really want to see a beam shot, especially after seeing the linked w10 high cri shots, perfect tint imo. Would there be a perceived (or real) difference in throw compared to CW? Cuts atmosphere better yet appearing less intense? The light saber look of w30 beamshots Ive seen in CW are very appealing.
I know I dont need this, but damn I want one bad. Wheres best place to buy? And where when high cri is available?

Good eye jericho!! I desperately want to see a comparison of beam shots in the field, though I think my mind is made up. And they’ll squeeze me for the premium CRI charge too! 
lol no prob my eye’s been on this light too… but one can only eat ramen for so many consecutive days… maybe if i wait it out a bit longer it’ll take a dip in price and i’ll snatch then :nerd_face:
