Welcome to the club. Looking at your collection, youā€™ll fit right in.

Thanks electricjelly

A love of flashlights is very interesting. It definitely feels like some of us are big into them, while others (most) could care less. It is kinda like the phone, where I do use my flashlight and camera, but theyā€™re always a compromise to the far superior daily carry camera I have, and the torch I carry with me.

Back to flashlights though, iā€™ve always loved flashlights and iā€™ve always been drawn to buying them. As a kid, a flashlight was always in my hand after dark, I was either reading under the blanket, or chasing creatures in the night.

Lastly, what is the light in the lower hand corner?

Thanks!

Welcome!

Iā€™ll give you the same advice I have given new people for years, make a light budget and keep to it!!

This site will have you sitting by the mailbox every day!!

Haha, guess you can tryā€¦

Me too, always had a fascination for light. sound. and radio.
I collected flashlights/torches when I was 9 years old (56 now) all incandescent lights back in the late 60ā€™s/early 70ā€™s. My friends and I used to love going out on misty nights with them.
The flashlight lower left is a Klarus MI7
Lower right one (pictures below) was thrown at me from a passing vehicle, hitting my bag I was carrying, so I ended up with a free usb rechargeable light
Canā€™t complain about that! Not sure what make it is.

Haha! yeah,
That picture I put up with a bunch of lights doesnā€™t include all of them, just the ones I could get away with putting in one place before my wife complains to me.
I have strategic areas around the house, so she doesnā€™t realise how big my collection is

Hi mikelight, welcome to BLF.

Ditto. Being rather OCD they are all in one spreadsheet, but the total number is never spoken out loud. :person_facepalming:

Edit: I guess weā€™re both past the advice of living on a budget. On a certain moment I looked at the total, added up the ones that were in the mail, and rounded that off on the next decade. And from there on I stick to that number. I even may buy new lights, but one in is one out.

Welcome to BLF! :+1:

If youā€™re already a confirmed flashaolic, it will only get worst! Did you consider secretly renting a small flat to store your lights and go play with them at night pretending to have a lot of work?

Haha! a good idea patmurris

Welcome to the forum.

Thanks nightlyfe27

Welcome aboard Mike!

Welcome to BLF mikelight! My wife has accepted my flashlight craziness over the years, but Iā€™ve accepted her stuff too. Luckily neither one of us goes too overboard with our interests. Iā€™m not aware of any benefits Iā€™ve received from her stuff, but my wife loves the Zebralight SC62w that I gave her.
