Non Flashlight orders/received

My wife way like that. Right now she just kicks me in the back to start me breathing again when I do an apnea. :confounded:

Picked up this little mosquito zapper / lantern:

Picked up these cheap little Dayton speakers. I needed something small to fit on my TV cart beside the TV. Even though they have only 4” drivers, they sound more musical than my old DefTechs. Right now I have them crossed over at 80 Hz to the sub - still need to do some more listening and tweaking. They are not very efficient and have 4 Ohm impedance, so they give my old AV receiver a bit of a workout, but I have plenty of headroom since it’s a fairly small listening/viewing area - no need for very high volume. For $70 bucks, I’m happy.

My 10yr old Vitamix is still going strong, but the 64oz container had seen better days. Ordered a new one.

Ordered a Seagate USB powered Backup Plus 5TB Portable Hard Drive with Rescue Data Recovery Services from Costco for $99 plus tax. With all the media I have, it’s cheap insurance if my house got robbed or burned down. I already have a few backups but this is a guarantee I will never lose my data. I will keep this hard drive in my safety deposit box I have at my local bank. Better safe than sorry.

I have a bunch of these, in different colors.

They're my hard drive of choice.

Picked up a small Nespresso machine for those times when I’m in a hurry or don’t feel like firing up my big Breville manual espresso rig.

Pete, looks great! What is the model #?

Had LeafFilter installed on my gutters yesterday. They will prevent debris from trees from clogging up the gutters and leaders which can cause water leakage into the house. I know from experience.

Essenza Mini. Amazon currently has it on sale for $76:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073ZGWN12

I think some local stores such as Target may offer it at similar price.

Pete, thanks! I’ll order it from Amazon. I have a Prime account.

Cool.

Between Nespresso and Keurig, the taste of Nespresso beats Keurig hands down, IMO, although Nespresso capsules are a bit more expensive. I’ve heard Peet’s capsules work well in these machines and sometimes go on sale for a lot less than the original Nespresso ones. I’ll be picking some up next time they go on sale.

My multi-tool has finally arrived. I like it. It looks well made.

Got myself a Wifi mini router : the GL.inet GL-MT300N-V2

(not my pic)

Only ~22€, runs OpenWRT and it is software upgradable, unlike most cheap junk in the same category!

Got a cheap replacement rear master cylinder from Amazon, this one has an external reservoir and is supposed to be the 2005 upgrade to the 2004 Arctic Cat I have. This one was $25… Much better deal than the $260 OEM one that’s known to seize! Got it mounted, thought I got it filled and bled, still no foot brake.

Guess I get to pull the caliper and do a restore on that too. Putting these machines away for 5 years wreaks havoc! But that’s how I got it for a Benji so maybe it ain’t worth complaining about! Lol

THIS ONE

Picked up some new pods to try in the Nespresso machine. These seem to be getting very favorable reviews as a viable alternative to original Nespresso ones, and they sometimes go on sale.

My first Ball Bearing Flipper: CH3507-G10.

Just received a nos Ever ready 1912 single edge razor, and two Arkansas stones for my straights razors, one black and one black translucent. 10”x3”x1” size. Gotta flatten and lap them now.

My speaker hoarding addiction has been kicking in more than my flashlight addiction lately. Just grabbed these leftover DCM TP160S bookshelves from ebay, possibly for garage duty…

Pete,

Those speakers look sweet for the money!

How did MTX get a hold of DCM?
Just bought out the name and remaining stock maybe?

I sold the DCM Time Windows back in the 80’s when they were considered the sheet.
People blew the heck out of the tweeters and they took forever to send replacements.
Thanks

Keith
