Sofirn SP10 Pro (AA/14500/Andúril 2) - now available!

I would be interested in 2

Please add me to the interest list. Thanks

interested in two.

Just so that I can keep track in this, these are the “last news” on this light, right?

From post #1:

Meaning: this project is still a project and an eventual possibility and something not concretized yet, right

Just because I don’t wanna miss it when it becomes “real”

  1. 168 is more up-to-date.

On my part it’s still a thing, there’s progress and set-backs alike :confounded:
Integrating both AA & 14500 to the point that the driver doesn’t care what you feed it - LVP aside - is the hardest part if both are supposed to be regulated well.
Just 14500 is dead easy, regulated AA + DD 14500 is simple still, beyond that it gets complicated.

Thanks for the explanation and reply!
I will be using such kind of light only with 14500s so I won’t care much for AA Alkaline or Ni-MH! I do see the point, though, of trying to make it versatile to use those kind of batteries.
Still, 14500s will probably rule on it, more than AAs…

So this ones still in progress? Great to hear, was getting worried… Then again plenty of projects take years to get a finished product.

Interested in Anduril version.

Interested in Anduril version with clear anodization, thanks

Just registered to post this and express my interest. So YES, I absolutely want one!

interested depending on price

Very interested and hopefully it will use 16mm mcpcb, which makes it easy to swap for other mcpcb emitter combos.

Definitely interested, depending on the price.

Interesting

Watching the thread…

interested

Sofirn loves glue, so you’d probably have to deal with that first.

The battery tube has symmetrical threads and is reversible already. Works fine if you ask me.

Definitely interested!

Interested in one of they’re 14500 only, I’ll take two if they’re AA/14500. Thank you!
