Yesterday I stumbled upon that thread again and thought just the same. 
So, some days ago I got some “glowing stuff” from CRX.
Not everything is installed yet, but this is the FW3A with a green gasket
Good quality material, good fit under the Carclo optics! Mi likes
I didn’t test it for the time it glows, but CRX has already presented the data, so I won’t bother with it again!

Those little discs are the mutts nuts, every time I use my FW3A I’m almost as excited (maybe the wrong word lol) when switching it off to see it glow!
I just received my own set of glow gaskets from CRX and I have to say: you do excellent work and I quite the added bit of color customization I can add to my FW3T and EDC18.

Sorry for the silly question. I thought LED with high CRI is a great feature. Are those blue/green gaskets designed to do the opposite of high CRI by adding blue/green tint?
The light out the front doesn’t shine through the gasket so effect on tint is minimal if any I believe.
But say you have the light on full power then change to ML, you’ll have more tinted colour output than white light for a while.
Does ML mean Medium Light? Is the purpose of those color glow gaskets purely decorative?
