Yes I used that lens. Probably just the thickness of the mcpcb as I am using the original. Guess I have to find some motivation to sand it thinner one day. Thanks for the help.
Nope older original model RRT01 and TCR1 alike.
Old-Lumens called it stipple. Video - How I Stipple a Reflector
I have used it several times with great results.
I put a 20mm “convoy” tir lens in my 2019 rrt-01. Very easy drop-in only a fat oring is needed under the bezel ring to compensate a smal height difference.
Original RRT-01 driver, reflector, and pocket clip supplies available.
I learned thanks to moderator007 that the driver in the 2019 RRT-01 also fits the Original RRT-01, and the TCR-1. He also found 2 reflectors that are drop in replacements for the Original RRT-01 and NiteEye10, to improve the beam.

1. Eye10 driver has strobe
2. The 2019 RRT-01 uses the Eye10 driver.
3. Eye10 driver can be purchased individually from info (at) jetbeamlight.com
4. Eye10 driver fits in the TCR-1 and Original RRT-01
5. Upgraded eflectors to fit Original RRT-01, and the Eye10 and TCR-1, are available from Kaidomain, more info here: WTB: Jetbeam RRT01 – Any place to buy it?! + [RRT01 2019 discussion] - #487 by moderator007
6. Short pocket clips are available from jetbeam also, thanks to toddcshoe for the info. The short clips fit both the Original and 2019 RRT-01, as well as the TCR-1 and NiteEye Eye10.
Comparing reflector options for an Original RRT-01 w sw45 led mod.
Thanks to moderator007 for discovering the kaidomain reflectors:
kaidomain 23424:
best pick imo, the hotspot is nice and even, and no dark ring in the spill
kaidomain 21514:
very tight beam, slight shadow ring in the spill, the center has a small extra hot area that I dislike (it looks like a hole in the middle of the hotspot):
stock Original RRT-01 reflector:
not recommended, has a dark ring in the spill, plus other rings around the corona, and at close range there is a dark cross in the middle of the hotspot
The kaidomain reflectors are taller than the stock one. The kaidomain reflectors have a flange to prevent the reflector from pressing on the mcpcb, and prevent the use of a centering ring:
All of mine are using a thinner mcpcb than factory with a plastic centering ring and tighten down on the centering ring mcpcb fine and have no fitment problem at all.
Maybe the thinner mcpcb is the key to these working correctly.
I preferred the KD 23424 also, they look identical but the beam seems better with the 23424. Good to hear they look good with a sw45k.
both KD reflectors produce better beams than the setup w the stock reflector
but the KD reflectors dont let the bezel close down as far, the O ring is exposed, without using any centering ring:
if I add a thin round centering ring then the gap at the O ring gets bigger
when my RRT-01 was modded to sw45, I dont know what mcpcb thickness was used
The beam has at least 3 obvious rings in the spill. Maybe because the LED sits lower than stock.
I much prefer the beam from the KD reflectors,
thanks for doing all the legwork to find them, and then sharing the info…
Many thanks to jon and modderator for all the info you put here. Much apreciated!
I have ordered bunch of reflectors and due to work i was not home for last few months but your info will help me solve the mess i have created at my tiny “shop”.
EDIT: i still need to post my homemade triple conversion… hopefully in August when i reach my doorstep
Spoke to clemence and shared some thoughts about it. He is trying to finish some protos of his MCPCB for RRT. But he’s busy as hell so it will take some time plus suplier messed up delivery of some boards if i understood him correctly…
But lack of time is the main reason
fwiw, my single sw45 Original RRT-01 is using a NOTstock board plus liquid tape.
I actually have not tried the KD reflectors in an UNmodified stock RRT-01.
It is also possible that the exposed Oring in my modded RRT-01 is caused by the height of the mcpcb, instead of being caused, as I suggested, by the lip around the KD reflector.
someone else needs to provide a photo of their reflector mod, and whether their O ring is exposed.

meanwhile, here is a red GID mod to a triple sw35 modded Jetbeam Eye10 from pinkpanda:
