Massive post on where to get lithium-ion batteries everywhere in the world! Look at Post 2-5 for info, And Canada Post 123

Is that the total price you paid, including shipping and any taxes (was there?)?

If so, thatā€™s not bad. Itā€™s cheaper than Illum. I just tried that 10x30Q order at Illum, and it comes out to $64.90 USD, which is about $86.50 CND.

Includes everything, and doesnā€™t have taxes.

Okay, not too bad, then. When you get them, let us know if they test as genuine 30Qā€™s.

@ BlueSwordM;
Have some cells from China. Reading your posts, I think these would pass CBSA?
Backstory;
Ordered some 18650GAā€™s from FastTech in April, they acknowledged shipped May 23rd. Seems to be using Aliyaā€™s method of DHL ground from Greensboro NC (drop shipping?). The tracking estimated delivery by last Friday (June 7th). Still ā€œEn routeā€ (In transit). DHL tracking not very detailed. Do they hand over to local postal service or use their courrier?

I had given hope as had a series of mishaps with some Chinese orders. Originally ordered a MiBoxer C-6000 and later found the item to be discontinued. The batteries were part of the order. The charger: went with C4-12A which is now in Mississauga.
Fast Tech pricing quite good - $26.45 CAD (shipped) for the 4 cells. A tad less than Aliya.

BTW what is your battery analyser? Much better than my inline mini USB tester.

Havenā€™t had any problem from Aliya or Lucky, but never ordered cells from Fasttech.

Itā€™s this constant current tester:

18650canada.com is my store if you have any questions :stuck_out_tongue: .

i am not targeting anyone in particular but my background is more towards ebikes.

inventory will be expended soonish. will get some button top in there and sony cells also.

i used to only sell on 1 forum and started this website just 1 month ago so its still a work in progress.

Iā€™ve found this one:

US retailer but very good service, good prices and ships Canada. ~12$ (for 8 oz. ePacket), ~27$ (for above 1/2 lb). Of course USD but has a nice selection with some daily deals* - quite interesting.

  • Vapcell 18650 31000 mAh 20A (Sony VTC6A rewrap - Mooch) @ $5 each (6.50 CAD)

Hi

I am a new member and think this forum is very good. Just want to contribute with the little experience I have so far.

Have ordered Sanyo NCR 18650GA 4.25 Euro and Samsung INR 18650 30Q 3.75 Euro batteries from www.ru.nkon.nl but they have high shipping rate 36 Euro. Other goods are shipped with normal shipping rate.

So i chose to pick them up in Sweden at the post office. Use Poste Restante.

Gets a little car ride.

Also ordered Samsung INR 18650 35E batteries from www.elefun.no. 6 euros per item. Hope they are real. Others with experience from this store?

Reichelt sells also BLF known unprotected types in pairs like:

- Samsung 30Q

- Sony VTC5/VTC6

- LG HG2

  • Panasonic GA

(Based in Germany, ships duty-free to small Switzerland :wink: )

Any chance to display shipping rates just by entering our postal code on your website? I usually avoid all sellers that want all my information up front before they display their shipping rates.

[quote=klrman]

Thatā€™s a good point, and one that bothered me as well. An early accessible page where we could enter the # of cells and the buyers postal code would be helpful.

Another suggestion Iā€™d like to make is, customers will be comforted if you acknowledge receiving their order. I recently placed an order and see that the charges went through on my credit card, but I have no idea if your shop is even aware that the order was placed.

Prices are good, however - 30Qs at $6.50 Cdn. is a good price. Customers need to (and I do) understand that the cost of shipping one cell is not much different from the cost of shipping a half dozen. You donā€™t mail much of a parcel in Canada any more for less than $14.

Based on my shopping habits alone it would go a very long way to make shipping rates up front and fast with just a postal code and quantity of order. I agree, need at least an email confirmation that order was received.

[quote=klrman]

i looked into it but i cant figure out how i can change it to be that way. its just the way shopify works it seems like.

edit: seems like i found an app that works.

[quote=Tumbleweed48]

there was no confirmation email? there should be one i will look into it to see what happened. mind telling me what order # it was? and yes shipping price in Canada are horrible. it cost me 7$ to ship something to usa but 13-19$ to ship the same thing in Canada depending where it goes. i did made a request for better pricing so i will see how that goes.

Iā€™ll email you details right away. Thanks.ā€

Edit:
O.K., my deal is all sorted and it was probably due to my error to start with.
Thanks Guillaume!

Nice of you to even look into that, thanks!

This must be a good choice for Scandinavian customers.

I have received my orders from elefun and they ship goods to customers in Scandinavia: Norway, Sweden, Denmark only.
It was nice with a low shipping rate of 39 NOK / 3.93 Euro for 4 Samsung 18650 batteries.

I just received my order of eight 30Qā€™s from 18650Canada yesterday.

Good product, good price, and fast service - I placed my order on July 30 and it arrived Aug. 6, with a long weekend in the interval. Iā€™d order again with confidence, and Iā€™m glad Canadians once again have a reliable source.

Your shipping rates work, thanks! Will be ordering batteries from you soon and will pass you website info around and thanks to BSM for letting us know about 18650Canada.

thanks for the support guys :smiley: . i try my best to give good customer service. i feel its lacking from a lot of places lately.
