Well, I was pleasantly suprised by the 50.2 in the FT03. I have quite a few lights and I will have to say this is my favorite light I’ve ordered this year. Throws really well and the spill is great. Best of both worlds so to speak. The price is what makes it so great. I ordered another one today. Really wish there was a warm white 50.2 3V. That would be the cherry on top for me. Still a fabulous light.
If you are debating getting one, do yourself a favor and grab one. I think you will really like this one.

Thanks freeme, excellent work. I greatly appreciate your help with the discount.

It is on sale at a great price now.

Did anyone measured the amps draw on this XHP50.2 variant?

Interested

i think i read around somewhere 10-12Amps…

We were estimating it would need to pull 14A-16A to do a real 4300 lumen OTF. Of course, it might actually measure a bit less of both. I don’t know if anyone has measured the 50.2 lumens or amp draw yet. I don’t think I’ve seen any of those reports. Maybe the light is still too new and not many people have recieved them yet.

I got 14.8A with VTC5A for XHP50.2.

Thanks. :+1:

Interested, can I please get the coupon code?

I’m measuring around 14 Amps tailcap current on the FT03 XHP50.2 (using UT210E amp meter and a short piece of copper wire to form a loop around the tail tube).

Unfortunately I don’t have a way of measuring lumens. I have a basic lux meter which I can only measure some ceiling bounce lux measurements…

what is considered normal draw for the SST40 version? mine only draws 7.8 with 80% battery.

Sounds normal.
With a fully charged high drain battery they seem to draw about 8.5A-9.5A. It’s never exact with a FET driver.

Thanks.

Hi freeme,

I’m interested in this light. Thanks.

AirBreaker

Using the Sofirn 26650 HD battery I only get 3650 lumens at 30 seconds with the 5700K Tint

Unfortunately I don’t own anything better than a 30Q which performs roughly the same.
