Which movie did you watch lastֻ

tv:
Private Eyes

movies:
Into The Ashes
Margin Call (excellent, IMO)
Talladega Nights
John Wick 3

Spider-Man: Far From Home

Not worth my IMAX 3D tix value.

The original, yes.

The remake, not so much.

There’s a remake?!? Ugh… :person_facepalming:

Of course there is. Those hollyweird coke-heads don’t have any original ideas anymore.

Killer Klowns From Outer Space”.

Most awesomest movie to just chillax to. It’s out of this world.

Gotcha!”.

Oh, man, how I missed this movie.

It’s got everything: adventure, love, humor, danger, awesome ’80s music, the works.

It almost makes me glad to have this hideous Vulcan-summer weather, just to be able to catch up on some great movies.

Almost.

How about we stick to the board policies and not try to sneak in politics?

It has zero to do with what I like or dislike, nor is your opinion relevant. When you signed up for the board you agreed to the following standards…

You’ll notice that no one has posted 3D porn or given direct links in this thread. There is no double standard.

Follow the rules or don’t post, it isn’t particularly difficult. There are very opinionated people here that cover the gamut of backgrounds yet all have generally managed to stick by the rules for years. It’s one of the reasons this board has been successful.

Miss Bala - average
The Wolf’s Call - interesting

FabienG, please drop the subject.

“Drop the subject” means to stop talking about something in future comments.

Teevee actually was picking up signals, caught the ever awesome “Ten To Midnight”.

That was by convenience only, was edited out the wazoo, even just the blurs, so will have to catch the Real Deal at some point. Just ain’t the same…

I think we’re not understanding each other, and I have no idea what you’re talking about in the quoted portion above.

To recap:

  1. In this current thread you were posting controversial topics and fighting with other users.
  2. I first removed your inappropriate posts in this thread.
  3. I then instructed you here to “drop the subject”, in other words, stop posting about controversial topics so that you do not continue making further inappropriate posts in this thread.
  4. When you did not understand the instruction to “drop the subject”, I explain it with a general definition of the meaning of the phrase “drop the subject”. I was not referring to “something” or “anything” in your private messages.

Ooh, that reminds me, thanks!

Firestarter” is definitely on my to-do list.

Loved that movie…

I liked that movie.

I've read two Stephen King books, Firestarter and Carrie.

That was back when I read books.

Now you need to follow it up with Dreamscape, and of course…Scanners.

“Plus One”
funny enough if you like the typical rom-com with the wedding theme attached. Nothing outstanding, just slightly above average (plot is very predictable, so nothing for a serious mind)

I am going to put “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas” onto my playlist for next weekend, one of my all-time favorites. Same for “Leaving Las Vegas” (N. Cage). Yes, I like movies set/shot in Las Vegas.

I saw The Final Girls (2015).

It's a horror comedy about slasher flicks.

It kinda spoofs the Friday the 13th franchise, but it's more than just a simple parody.

It's an okay movie, but I've seen better.

If you like Jason Voorhees, you should check it out.

Hornet’s Nest yesterday.
It’s real.
Best I’ve seen so far.
Captured the essence of what a firefight really is; the photographer was right in the middle of it.

I saw Chinatown (1974).

I know it's supposed to be a classic, but I didn't care for it.

It was too slow for my taste, and I just didn't like it.

I especially didn't like the ending.
