My guess is the driver is recessed deeper in the head to make room for the clicky switch. Is that right? Can I ask who makes the switch you used? Excellent mod, btw.

Yes, as this model was using the flush rubber boot I had to recess the driver into the pill to fit the switch in.
I used the OmTen PBS1288WF01 12mm reverse clicky switch with a custom brass housing, the original has the spring soldered directly to the PCB with a foam surround.

Yeah the owner is going to install a Ti bezel I think once the light is sent back home and I still have to make a glow gasket for it.
The recessed switch is nice, I do prefer it :+1:

Outstanding work and I am totally jealous. Especially as both of my Novatacs seemed to have taken a walk and not returned over the last four or five years.
