WTS/GB: NICHIA 219B NVSL219BT-V1 R9080 EMITTERS! sw45k, sw40, sw35, sw30

PM sent

The higher flux bins are usually less rosy. My D200 3000K 219B 9080 are VERY GREEN because D200 is a high flux bin for that CCT.
Have you tried the 4000K D220?

Btw, since we had so many group buys for the 4000K and 4500K and the 4500K has been available in the Fireflies series, I wonder how many people would be interested in the 2700K and 3000K rosy variant if you can get some of those. I for one would buy a bunch, especially the 2700K.

I’ve sent this most recent bin of sw40 and sw45k to a friend for testing. Will most likely have results by tomorrow.

As for the 2700k and 3000k variants, I can try and get a hold of them but it would likely require a group buy large enough to warrant the cost and effort. If I could get interest in at least 300 pcs of each CCT, I could probably make it happen.

To help kickstart it, Ill take 25 of each. If just 2700K, I will take 40 of it

Updated my original post to gauge interest.

Maybe change the title also to say GB 2700K & 3000K?

Updated.

Interested
15x 2700k
15x 3000k

I’d like the following, please:

5x sw45k d200
5x sw35

It is worth being aware there already is a user who is selling 3000K R9050 219B’s in the BLF Buy and Sell subforum. I don’t know how many he has, though, so perhaps there is more demand than what he has on hand.

I also have some 3000K 9050. The tint is not as rosy as the 9080 I seen in the 4000K and 4500K 9080

Hm I thought R9080 Nichias were rosy regardless. I know the Ks are super rosy. I will await test results to get the 4000k d220 bins.

2700K R9080 ?!

I’d be in for 8 or more!

In for 10 x sw30 and 5 x sw27

I will add 10 x SW27

List updated. Thanks for your interest! Let’s make this happen!

Let me start by saying that my favorite LED is the sw45k R9080.

My handful of sw35 R9080 emitters from azhu arrived today, and I immediately swapped three of them into an FW3A. They’re great!

I’m thinking this new 3500K FW3A will be my ‘after sunset’ EDC.

Now let’s get that sw27 R9080 minimum quantity met!

Thanks again, azhu! :+1:

I’m curious what the price break is for more than 20.

Either way, I’ll take 12 each of the sw27 and sw30 (24 total). And 6 of the sw40.

Possibly more, depending on when this goes down. If we’re only getting one of the warmer bins, I’ll take 24 of whatever one gets picked.

Thanks, Larry

Edit: After seeing the pics below, I’d like 9 of the sw45K as well. Very nice emitters.

I do not consider the N219c 3000k 9050 to be “rosy”
I do not consider the N219b 3500k 9080 to be “rosy”
I do not consider the N219b 4000k 9050 to be “rosy”
I Do consider the N219b 4000k 9080 to be slightly “rosy”
I Do consider the N219b 4500k 9080 to be slightly “rosy”
I Do consider the N219b 4500k 9080 sw45k to be Very “rosy”

Rosy is relative to ambient white balance

my sw45k EDC, during daylight:

my personal preferences
I really like the extra pink sw45k, it is my EDC during the day
the sw45 is ok, not as pink
I like the the sw35 in the evening, my house lights are 3000k incan, the extra 500k of the sw35 makes it look “whiter” than my incan, so it “seems brighter”.
I do not like to use the sw35 during the day, it “seems dim” and warmer than I prefer, at that ambient white balance.

I highly recommend the 9080 variants from azhu, I feel extremely fortunate to have some.

I have not tried the sw30 9050, nor the sw30 9080
but I have a strong preference for the higher R9 of the 9080 versions in all cases

This is Rosie, not to be confused with her “rosy” pastie:

not to be confused with a Pasty, which is neither Rosie nor “rosy”:

now what were we talking about… I lost my train…

oh right, 219b 9080’s, yeah, they rock, and azhu has the goods!

Interesting stuff jon_slider. Thanks for sharing.
Do you know what the white-balance setting was on the camera during these pics?
