Title says “FW3A in a classic body” so I assume specs - emitter options, driver, performance, UI - are very similar to FW3A.

This design is Lumintop’s doing, so It’ll probably be a pain in the ass to open it up to flash newer firmware, or swap LEDs. They’ll probably use that one piece plastic optic, and they’ll glue it together.
I'll have to pass, I've reached my quota of non-recessed side switch lights. If I wanted another, the D4v2 is higher on the list.

Well it’s modeled after an FW3A and is running Anduril. My guess is it has a FET driver like an FW3A. It also appears to have triple emitters like an FW3A.
I figure this new light will be a lot like an Emisar D4, but possibly a little smaller and narrower and with the output of an FW3A. Probably around 3000 lumens with XPL HI or 1800 lumens with SST20 95 CRI.
Some potential issues:
- protruding button might be at risk of accidental activation in the pocket unless lockout is used or a washer installed around the button.
- Bezel appears to be press-fit. This makes swapping LEDs much harder than it if was a screw-on bezel.
