In the Amazon sale ad, I see the orange 4800 5000ma battery has changed to a white 26650 with Wurrkos brand label. Hope its as good as the already tested orange one. Prolly is.

There seems to be a lot of love for this light so I would guess Sofirn is going to start ramping up the production on it pretty soon.
I was expecting a smaller light but am happy it was larger than expected. The specs in the ad are wrong. It’s @ 37mm at the head. 29mm at the tube and 33mm at the tail.
The length is 4 & 7/16 inches. (Can’t find my long caliper duhhh)
My orange ones were/are listed 5000mAH, and both clocked in at 5380 and 5376 or something really close.
Anyone know of a good holster for it?
My Jetbeam holster which fits tubelights just fine, will fairly easily stretch to fit, but was hoping for something a bit wider to begin with.
Just ordered some Convoy holsters (with the fancy stitching) that may be wider, dunno.
Parasitic drain measures 31uA and so not bad, so it will take 19 years to flatten the 5AH battery if the battery itself has no leakage.
I also purchased the 365nm SST-10-UV-A130-E365-00 from DigiKey but I can’t figure out how to get the thing opened to swap it out. Has anyone opened or x-rayed theirs?
It looks like the bezel screws off, the seam being between the switch and frying-bacon symbol.
Might be glued. I tried getting it off for a peek, but didn’t try very hard.
I used a heat gun to bring the front bezel ring up to about 60 Celsius but it still didn’t budge. If it’s expoxy then it may need go hotter, or maybe it pops of instead of unscrews but I’ve not been around any x-ray machines last little while so dunno.

What about that grippy sandpaperlike stick-on stuff like for slippery steps? Someone was using that for grip (fiik what it’s called, though).
yeh, think they refer to it as “skate-board tape”……it works….but still…knurlin would be da bomb. 
Just goggled it on Amazon, yep, “grip tape”, fancy colors for skateboards.
A splash of red might look nice, though. :laughing:
hi, they are same cells inside, we just add a white cover on it as we did for other batteries before
It is a point, 365nm cost more, may upgrade in the future

Like this light a lot. Thanks Lightbringer for reviewing it. Managed to open the bezel with 2 strap wrenches. No heat and just enough force. Seems regular glue was used so a little heat should help. I’m still debating whether to replace the main LED with 4000K 351D and the red to a 2200K 351B. I really don’t like red led but might need it someday.
