Well, a full-featured general purpose copper flashlight for military and law-enforcement would certainly add some human-like aspects to those agencies, but I doubt if the procurement departments would go for it.
But hey, it sure is a VERY PURDY light! If I were a LEO, I would not want a copper bezel ring, but something made out of SS or Ti. So I can smash in a (car)window. With a nice copper or gold color, of course.
And keep the very mild crenulation, so I can see if the light is on. When I put it head down on the table.
Aluminum with copper head and the high CRI LH351D emitters for $55 would be nice. At the bottom of the page, it says the copper will oxidize over time.
Pretty ladies torch.
Very exxy for another skinny. NOT Tiny torch.
Another fancy, shorter S2?.
Couldn’t hold it for long if it putting out 3000 lum. I’d think.
Burn your pinkies?..
I personally buy Copper ones cause I like the differing shades they give
AFTER they’ve weathered themselves.
Even the missus said no thank’s too fancy for me.
I’d be scared of marking it in my bag.
In a normal womans bag. Would you go in there and come out undamaged
Chuckle….
Di’s is Fancy Hand painted leather about a foot square, 6in thick. and “”I” CARRY it. Why??
“Cause it’s too heavy for me”. I’d hate to get hit with it.
It’s not terribly floody. I got one in convoy M1? M2? Can’t remember. It does pretty good. It’s not a xpl-hi or a sst-20 but it’s not a nichia either. Very pleasant tint around 5000k or so. Not sure what the tint of theirs is.
I have this led in my Folomov 18650S (very comparable design) and it is perfect as my bike light:good directional light to see where you are going, while not too spotty so you can see the full width of the road/track.
