I’m in for one please

Neat project. Please sign me up for one. Thanks.

In for 1 with batteries.

This sounds tremendously useful. I’m in for 1 + batteries. Thanks for taking on this project!

Which solar power bank was the one in the video? I see a few different sizes for that manufacturer - X-Dragon.

Is it better to get a solar charger like the one mentioned earlier in this thread and a separate power bank or an integrated solution like the X-Dragon one in the video?

I’m new here so I apologize if posting this question in this thread is frowned upon. However, I will be buying this to support my BLF LT1s and I’m sure others are curious about this as well.

I am interested in 1 plus batteries.

Smart idea

1 plus batteries please

If not too late please add me to the list for 1

Welcome!

In general, I think it is better to have a solar panel and a battery separate (unless you need it to be as compact as possible). My thinking here is that if one or the other dies, you can replace that part instead of the whole thing. Also, you could use one panel with different batteries depending on your needs (bigger batteries for longer trips, etc) or just the solar panel by itself to save weight.

Based on the work DBSAR has done around here, I’d say anything he likes is probably a quality product. If it fits your needs and budget, the one in his video is probably a good bet for a combo device. he also recommended a regular solar panel (without battery) earlier in the thread from a company called ECEEN (use the search to find the link) if that is more your speed. This lantern paired with the ECEEN and 4x 3500mah cells is said to be capable of providing light “indefinitely”, so it sounds like a winning combo to me. The X-Dragon with a built in power bank would be useful for charging other devices, extending the run time of this one, or using it without the battery tube installed.

hope that doesn’t “muddy the waters”… the TLDR is that I think in general, splitting the task between two devices (solar panel and battery) is more robust, but anything DBSAR likes is surely a good buy.

Thank you! That is exactly what I was looking for!

In for one please.

Nope not too late at all. I will be adding to the interest list until I’m told by Sofirn that the buy is over.

I’ll take one.

I’m interested in one.

Please add me to the list.

I’d like to be added please. Thanks!
