I try to avoid loyalty to companies. The larger the company, the less loyalty. When it gets to very small businesses, it is more being loyal to and trusting a person (or a few people), and there are some that stand out. Emisar is noteworthy to me. Jaxman and Convoy also get my support. MTNElectronics and Led4Power get some of my monies for sure.
Nothing in particular, but I an very fond of Cree emitters. I have a Luminus and Convoy product coming on the slow boat from China, so that may change! Before I liked Streamlight, but you cab get something more powerful for a fraction of the cost… for cars I like Subaru wagons.
I look at Casio watches every time I want to buy a watch, but I always end up with a Timex.
I think Casio's are probably built better, but I like the aesthetics of Timex.
As for laptops/desktops, I don't buy them often enough to have a strong preference.
I just go for the best-bang-for-your-buck gaming PC, whatever that may be.
“Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the western spiral arm of the Galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun. Orbiting this at a distance of roughly ninety-two million miles is an utterly insignificant little blue green planet whose ape-descended life forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea.” - The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
I do. Sometimes wonder if they could really be real.
Surely nobody could look at themselves in several mirrors.
and have enough NON pride in themselves as to think they could look
anything but “”God Almighty”. Out in public.
WHAT are they.
And anything else that I need of differing brands.
WITH good reputations.
Faithful to a few.
Willing to try anything as long as somebody else has been there first,
and come away with smile on face.
We cannot possibly KNOW of everything and it’s quality.
Always check reviews over time. Of all. Others have.
Gives a better chance of not being wrong hey.
I’ve just downloaded Avengers Endgame to watch.
It gets nice reviews here. Nice lunchtime break.
I was just going to write down that I don’t have any brand loyalty.
Then I remembered that my Bosch powerdrill must be almost 40yrs old by now. And it has had a hard life!
My other powertools are also made by Bosch, unless Bosch does not make it, or it is a gift to me.
Most of my kitchen appliances, like oven and freezer, are Bosch. They score pretty well in consumer tests.
My wife does not trust those consumer tests, she trusts salesmen.
So she comes home with dyson’s, or a suicidal vacuum cleaner that tries to hang itself in every possible way.
I’ve worked 28yrs for the same power company, mergers and all.
Until they end your contract at 65yrs. A mandatory thing. They are on my dislikes list now.
Yes, I do have a sort of dislikes list. But I’m not going to explain because it is mainly a personal feeling.
If something is the matter, I am not going into lengthy arguments, I just don’t buy stuff from them anymore.
Apart from buying from China, but those a mostly small amounts. Those “dialogues” help to pass the time.
