The inner diameter of my L21A is 22 mm as well, Samsung cells fit, but Shockli cells did not fit.
Adding 0,6 mm will make a lot of difference, or the cheaper manufacturers could just produce cells that comply with the standard 21700 = 21mm x 700 mm… :person_facepalming:
but, I haven’t own triple led yet…this probably a nice deal Just need to know if it will fit the 21700 vapcell 4500mah red…but product mention fit protected cell… Just weight 124 gram, that even better! Looking very sexy light…
Call me old fashioned, but i actually like that driver, no strobes, just 4 modes. I have removed the NTC to get rid of the temperature protection and i am very happy with it.
There’s nothing wrong with it, but I dislike mode memory most of the time and prefer an option to disable it. So Simon going from programmable firmware with options (Biscotti) back to fixed modes and fixed memory drivers seemed like a step backwards. If he had launched this one with an Atinny25 based driver with Crescendo, it would have also opened up the possibility to flash it with Bistro or other Atinny based firmware.
Edit: So it looks like the S12 uses a 22mm driver, if it’s the same 6A driver Simon already has. Kaidomain sells a 7135x12 22mm driver with Atinny13. Could have potential to flash something better. I’d like the S12 a lot more with programmable firmware on it.
Yes, i agree what’s up with it?
It seems he launched several new drivers, but it feels like a step backwards, at least biscotti offers a choice
Also i saw new drivers that seem to have solder pads to make a fixed choice ?
Simon, please offer more drivers with Biscotti, or even better the A6 firmware with the possibility to select following mode or previous mode (Or Bistro or Anduril or another option to reflash your own firmware such as with newer Emisar lights)
Everyone has his own preferred mode
