Just got a TC66C yesterday. All is ok, pc communications included, i am very satisfied. But i cannot update the firmware (it shipped with 1.12 while there is 1.14 available).
I followed the procedure, pressing K1 while connecting it to the PC: the TC66C shows “BOOTLOADER 1.06” and the pc software says “inserted” but when i click on Update Now the software hangs and do nothing. The display on the T66C keeps showing BOOTLOADER line.
Someone could help?

well, my tc66 just stopped turning on when putting in to usb-c after 4 days. Yes, the pwr switch is on, have to hook up a powerbank to the microusb for it to light up.
That did not last long
I got it up again. Did go through the process maybe 6-7 times and its working again.
-pd softswitch off and on
-pd swith on the back off and on
Did that 6-7 times and it finally detected it again. Was testing phone charge so had turned off pd, but seems to have been a bug turning it on again.

what should you do if TC66C cannot upgrade firmware:
if you see the interface below when upgrade the firmware, please delete the software and install it in another disk(DO NOT INSTALL IN SYSTEM DISK)

RD tech- Im curious as to which charger you are using on page 1 (C66C can test the maximum power of PD charger, so that we can know the quality of our charger)- It looks like it is capable of PPS 45 W

sorry for that, I don’t know that, usually I see 45W charger use 15V/3A or 20V/2.25A, you can ask someone else to see if they know such a charger

Also as per a previous poster my TC66c failed to restart with only the screen illuminating with a dull glow.
Could get it to boot into the bootloader but and it would talk to the PC via a cable, but it would not measure any voltages or current.
After quite a few reboots it surprisingly came back to life (thank God).
Oh well, the little unit failed to come on again.
Fun while it lasted.
