Favorite movies of all time ?

David Cronenberg + Christopher Walken is a hell of a pairing.

A bit of an understatement. lol

Back to the Future

Everything was just perfect in this movie!

I saw Constantine (2005).

I really liked this movie.

Keanu Reeves did an excellent job.

I just sat and watched “RED”
the first of the Frank Moses movies.
Great actors. skilled relaxed, very natural.
and great comedy.

Even better than the third or fourth time I watched.

Just like Constantine. Something you can sit. relax. enjoy.
and look forward to watching again, sometime in the future.

The Godfather, Pulp Fiction, The Terminator, Goodfellas.

Finally got around to watching the actual movie “Bubba Ho-Tep”.

Wow, butchered was right. So many parts were just never in the butchered-for-teevee version.

This was like watching a totally different movie. So much more… complete.

I saw Witness for the Prosecution (1957).

I really liked it.

I like courtroom dramas, and mysteries, and this is a pretty good one.

I saw Double Indemnity (1944).

It's another mystery directed by Billy Wilder, the director of Witness for the Prosecution.

It's also pretty good, especially if you like film-noir.

In the 1990's, I repeatedly watched Fatal Instinct (1993).

It's a spoof of a bunch of movies, including Double Indemnity.

It's directed by Carl Reiner.

It's absolutely hilarious, if you like rude humor.

I'm surprised it has such a low score on IMDb--because I loved it.

Maybe people don't like it because it's so immature.

The Man from Earth.

I saw Taxi Driver (1976).

Not a whole lot happens in the movie, but I liked it.

It has good atmosphere, nice music, and great acting.

The Lives of Others is possibly my favourite flick.

I saw Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017).

It was very good.

It's a drama with a lot of verbal confrontations, and a fair amount of violence.

The movie ends abruptly, but the acting was excellent.

I saw Moon (2009).

It was amazingly good.

I'm surprised the budget was only $5 million.

There wasn't a very large cast, but it seemed to be a much bigger budget film.

It is one of the best sci-fi movies I have ever seen.

2001: A Space Odessy
The Shining
Full Metal Jacket

28 Days Later
Sunshine
Slumdog Millionaire

Blade Runner - The last version where R. Scott finally got it right First edit didn’t flow right.

Alien

Let the Right One In. (Original version)

Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Again, the original although the english version is almost as good

Das Leben der Anderen (won an Academy award)

Pan’s Labyrinth

I saw eXistenZ (1999).

It was pretty good.

It start out a little slow, but the ending was pretty amazing.

I think you have to be a fan of sci-fi to like it, and it helps if you like realistic video games.

It had some very good acting for a horror film.

I saw The Best Offer (2013).

It was an excellent mystery.

Donald Sutherland plays a small part, and I like him as an actor.

All the acting in the movie is really good.

I especially liked the ending.

All these are new favorites of all times?

Damn, I gotta get hooked on a movie, watch it a few dozen times, then it becomes one of my favorites.

If I watch a movie once, and I really like it, it's a fave of all time for me.

I rarely watch a movie more than once, and about three quarters of all movies that I see aren't all that great don't make the favorite list.

Any of the old Star Wars. Closely followed by the Goonies.
I like just about anything really though.

Just please, for the love of B’harni (pbuh!), don’t watch “Breaking Barbi”.

I just skimmed, watching maybe 30sec at a time then jumping 5min forward, etc., and I could actually feel my IQ dropping about a dozen points each time.

I think I’ve suffered irreparable brain damage from that movie.
