New site advice: https://www.intl-outdoor.com/

No flashing kits ….

Okay, some notes:

1) Not all items showing - eg. D1S not appearing.
2) Resize down http://m.intl-outdoor.com/media/wysiwyg/slideshow/d18n.jpg - it’s currently 664kb; resize it to the same width of the image of the D4V2 in the scroller (http://m.intl-outdoor.com/media/wysiwyg/slideshow/2483.jpg) which is 153kb, around 23% of the size. More of a way to make the site load faster and reduce your data transfer.
3) Currency cookie! Please drastically extend the length of time this stays. Currently only valid for 1 hour; for those of us not using USD, this is a bit of a pain to have to change every time we visit the site. 7 days, maybe? Longer?

4) The “New Product Added” section - maybe make that to only show products added in the last 2-3 months, at the longest. Newest items first.
5) Could maybe compress some items; an example would be the XPL HI section, instead of having 9 options currently (each of the three CCTs either bare, 16mm, 20mm MCPCB) it could be three - Bare Emitter, 16mm MCPCB, 20mm MCPCB - and inside there, choose your temperature option. Same could be said for the Osram Flat White - only needs one item instead of three, but with options inside of the item.

That one is up to your own style, though - If you prefer to have one item per exact option, that makes sense. I’m just looking at it from a user-experience standpoint.

And my last wish-list item - I’d love to see more spare parts for your light up, eg. replacement glass, buttons, driver boards, etc for the D4/D4V2/D1 etc etc. Time cost of putting them up on the store might be very minimal, but would save time for both yourself and customers by not having to email to ask for custom parts.

Hello Hank,
my browser reports that this is not a secure connection, it is attackable.

Now it works, seems to have done!

  1. The D1S stock is low, that is why we did not add it to the new site, there will be D1SV2 in the near future.
  2. Will fix it.
  3. Will look into it, and fix it.
  4. Yes, we are still working on it.
  5. Nice suggestion, will follow it.
  6. Yes, we will consider it.

It is now “http://”, we will use the “http://s” tomorrow, then it will be secure.

Just add it.

Hello Hank,
it is currently not possible to log in, is that correct?

Do you mean you can not logo into the new site?

I had to register again, loosing all my old order info’s :frowning:

Thanks so much Hank! Really appreciate that you’re so open to feedback

Yes, neither in the old nor in the new.

For the D4V2, I noticed on the old site there was an option to have either the raised ring around the button or to have it flat. I’m not seeing this option on the new site.

Edit: It’s there now, thanks!

Looks great.
There’s typo in MT-G2+mcpcb: NOCTIGO (N is missing)

Thanks, fixed.

Hello Hank,
the login window, on the new page, is not encrypted, it is not safe!
Will this be fixed?
The old page works as before.

Regards
Daniel

This is a completely new site, you will need to register a completely new user name.

It is now “http://”, we will use the “http://s” tomorrow, then it will be secure

Wouldn’t it be possible to transfer our data? So that we can view the history of our orders.

And I don’t see quad mcpcbs. For carclo 10622.

Hello Hank,
what will happen wit the old order history?
Is she lost?

So far, I can say your website is awesome and really clear! :+1:
