CBD

Been wanting to ask this same ? for aches in knees, neck, etc.

There are so many brands and they all say their’s is the best because of _ (insert CBD Snake Oil reason)
Hoping for some real life responses.

Do not want to vape, would rather some kind of cream or rubbing compound.

This is a good place to learn about the various methods of cbd application and find some of the better known retailers.

Since this site only deals with cbd oil products, it makes no mention of hemp high-cbd leaf that can be vaped or smoked—also worthy of consideration.

CBD is good BUT because the FDA is still pretty uptight about the whole association with cannabis I’m not even sure if there’s

1) regulations in place to ensure consistency of potency across companies and the CBD they use
2) any real in depth peer reviewed studies. I could be wrong here but how would they test it on human subjects thoroughly if it was considered a Schedule 1 drug

I personally use the CBD gummies and isolate pills sold on InfiniteCBD. Not a plug or anything but I found that it has been the most effective one in my sampling journey. Wife also loves it too due to the fact it helps her sleep very well. We dose about 12.5mg and tend to not exceed that.

Best way to stop arthritis pain is to find a safe way to get the aluminum out of your joints.

You might wanna consider inquiring on this CBD shop in KC, they are very knowledgable about the products and can give you good suggestions on what product and dosage you should take depending on your needs and not very pushy on selling too

What I am finding mostly is that this stuff is not cheap.

The cheapest way is to but CBD isolate and mix your own tincture. It’s easy and there are guides out there, I’ll try to find one of the better ones and link it here.

One decent guide here: https://www.reddit.com/r/CBD/comments/8sm9zq/making_inexpensive_mctbased_cbd_tinctures_and/

And a better cure is to get a bee to sting your knuckles. Seriously

I would not recommend THC, it can cause anxiety, paranoia, the munchies etc. CBD is said to be soothing. However concentrations in commercial products vary widely from claimed values.

Sometimes joint pain (no pun intended) can be cured or reduced using exercises. I have had painful knees for 15 years. Yoga style exercises are working wonders. The idea is that muscle imbalance can cause joints to misalign causing pain. Strengthen the muscles, and the pain goes.

Or grasp a stinging nettle. Seriously. I believe formic acid relieves arthritis.

Have you tried CBD Oil?

No, I just know what I hear on the news.

They talk about CBD oil quite frequently.

What I posted earlier is the general consensus of scientists, and that's what I go by.

THC is another story.

I used to vape and smoke marijuana, and that really does something, but my days of getting high (or drunk for that matter) are behind me.

I knew an old Hungarian bee keeper that swore by bee stings for his arthritic hands.

I hope I never get arthritis...

I hate bee stings.

Yeah, and it would be kind of hard to stick my hip in the hive.

Tried that once. Didn’t like it.

Stinging nettles (which are abundant here in the UK) help with arthritic pain.

I just googled stinging nettles and it sounds interesting. Creams containing it my help arthritis. Currently using Arnica rub. Next up is Joint Flex. I will give it a try next after them. All cheaper than CBD at this point. Maybe when it becomes more common, CBD will come down in price. Currently about $50-$60 a month by my calculations.

Here is a really well done video about stinging nettle:

I use nutiva organic cold pressed hemp seed oil.
Does not contain tetrahydracannibinol
I get mine from amazon.

And you find it helpful for pain? Soon Amazon will be on the CBD bandwagon. Not sure why they keep skirting around the issue. Supposedly it is legal to ship to all 50 states at the federal level. Maybe state and local laws are holding them back.
