So god news is bezel is removeable.
It can be changed to carclo, but Lumintop optics do not need glass.
Should we buy it separately? It’s a joke to me. They should send for free or put to the flashlight box as accesory, for those who want to change their optics.

why would everyone, who does not "need" a carclo plus lens setup have to pay for it, because some "modders and enthusiasts" want the last few percent of performance? ;)

the EDC18 is pointing to the mass market where costs are a bigger issue than a "lets get whats possible - Fan driven project light"
they gave us the choice to tune the light without having to raise the price for all others.

i´d guess that where you buy your carclo you will also get a lens

for example this shop with lotsa modding parts that should fit in the EDC18 too ;)
