Flashlight compatible with Carclo 10622/10623/10624 (24mm)

Your help would help a lot.
I’m searching for lights (hosts/flashlights) compatible with Carclo 1062x optics.
Emisar D4 and Astrolux S4x are well known exaples but my list ended up with these.
Do you know any other currently available?

Astrolux S4x use chinese 22mm quad optics and dont fit carclo quad.

Thanks, I wasn’t sure since I managed to check only one S4x. Now I know it applies to the whole line. Thanks Kariba.

Anyway, your input will be much appreciated.
If you are aware of any adapted projects - this would help too. I just have an interesting 4xOptisolis 20mm MCPCB and some optics and I want to make good use of it.

I dont like when optics outer edge is hidden by bezel, so I would check flashlights with 24mm or bigger bezel inner diameter. But light losses (under bezel) are not critical with quad optics, so in most cases you can use any flashlight with glass bigger than 24mm.
Yes I made parts for dozen different quad mods. Cu X5, manker u11, convoy M1/M2/S11, 3 versions VG10, hundreds of P60 shells. Most of this hosts (except first two) are way bigger than S4x. Copper spacer adds near 50gr of weight to the head - many people like extra heat capacitor but sometimes it comes too heavy for edc.

This is what I’m doing ATM. it’s rarely listed parameter, so I just hope somebody had already gone this path.

Amutorch AX*3* and AT40. I’ve built both as quads. You do need to build a 20mm x 2mm spacer but that’s pretty easy to cut out of Cu sheets and stack them to the necessary thickness.

Buy the reflector version of them so it includes a glass lens (the mule versions come with a plastic lens).

Great candidates. I like amutorch design.

Correction, AX3 (AX2 is a single reflector light and probably not 24mmø)

I’ve found AX3 on AE, but it has 2 leds… And a side switch. Do you know how many Aps it pulls originally? I’m going to put there 4x Optisolis

Found your review, 6,78A. Awesome.

FET is not driver. You can not compare currents measured with different setups.
Also, you need to check this: LED test / review - Nichia Optisolis 3000 / 5000 K - ultra high light quality, even with high performance in mid-power class
In few words, you cant get more than 6amps from 4 leds (even without driver) if you use single cell. And big lumen drop while battery is discharging.

I intend to drive 1A each led, so 4A driver would be just perfect. Since I don’t have experience with e-switches I think I have to stick to the original driver. I’d rather it was CC driver, but as said above : don’t want to screw it.

The only version of AX3 is the titanium version on Ali. I’m not very fond of titanium flashlight due to poor heat dissipation. And it’s not very cheap, around $40.

Are there any cheaper flashlights compatible with Carclo 10622-10624?
