That’s exact same mouse I’m using. I like the free scroll mode where I can just fling the wheel to scroll through long documents or webpage, then switch back to ratchet mode when precision is required.
You can find it on Aliexpress for $58 sans shipping. They also sell the body parts too, in case they worn out (provided that you are brave enough to hack it apart and reassemble it).
Edit: I don’t like the knockoffs being sold there (because they lack this free-scroll option).
Logitech MX Master is a great one. I got one used on a good discount because the charging cord was missing. It’s Micro USB. I really enjoy the tactile feel of it. My previous primary mouse was an MX Anywhere. That was a great mouse (the original, not the 2nd version). But unfortunately the mouse buttons had a design flaw where they’d wear out over time and cause unwanted double-clicks. I performed a DIY mod to help alleviate it, but that didn’t work reliably.
My travel mouse is a Microsoft Mouse 4000. It is light and a little cheap feeling, but it just lasts and lasts. Pretty accurate performance too. And efficient. Just 1 AA cell.
Anyway, if you need or prefer corded, then the G502 looks like the one to keep going with. $36 shipped on eBay. I wouldn’t trust Chinese clones.
What do you like about the G502 specifically? I wouldn’t classify it as a “big” mouse, especially compared to Deathadders and the like. Grip width is just as, if not more important than length.
Palm, claw or fingertip grip?
That said, I’d recommend the Nixeus Revel, it’s one of the cheapest larger mice with a sensor that works well for gaming.
Very few cheapo mice are worth you time for gaming, the sensors are cheap and there are often serious firmware and reliability issues. “Convoys” of the gaming mice market there are not.
The height of a mouse completely changes the feel too, and if you’re claw grip you probably just need something with a taller hump or one that’s farther back. I think the Revel might do that for you, otherwise look for a sale on a Deathadder or G403 maybe?
