I had a PayPal claim with CNQG from an order in February this year. No response from numerous attempts to contact the shop and no order. Shame as he was one of the good shops to deal with.
Ya same here MRsDNF, it seems that just before the Chinese New year Jan. 22 or so and was last the last time I saw any movement from Rics site, I have wondered if something happened to him over that holiday it’s been complete silence since but did see site was up briefly maybe a week or two ago.
Yeah, I ordered and paid for a flashlight from CNQG while the site was up a few days ago. Now, I’m wondering whether I’ll ever see it. :person_facepalming:
Hi David, How strange your post because I was logged off of BLF but at my desk here and I was just thinking to myself about Ric, his site, and my post you quoted and wondering if I was being accurate when I thought it had been two weeks, then I was startled out of my day dream by a email notice with this post and once I read your post I realized I was wrong about the two weeks, it was only like two days ago now that you mention it.
During that site up time I actually logged in to my account and browsed around for a bit and debating getting some Shadow lights I have been wanting forever now, but then I started having issues with navigating around the pages and eventually pages became slow to load and just a pain so went to log out properly and couldn’t, so just closed my browser and went back to check again and all I got was I believe those Apache SQL warnings or whatever their called other than a site is dead notice.
So thank you for your comment, I don’t like posting bogus info regardless, but a thought occurred to me, did you happen to check to see if your funds have been sent to for your purchase …?

Oh yeah, my funds made it through. I checked it immediately after paying because the site even messed up while I was checking out and gave me a message that payment didn’t go through. But PayPal says it did go through.
I thought that was a really dumb question, knowing your a smart guy ha ha
Your situation is one of those times when PayPal is the best company ever,
I know I’ve been in some really bad online transactions in the past and surely would have lost money if not for PayPal.
It would be really odd if you did get your purchase, and still no idea why the site is messed up, and no Ric around, bummer, I liked his site and do hope this is just a thing and not a permanent.
