I’m working on the accessories I been quite overloaded with errands & work lately, but will try to get a video done in a week or two and post to my channel.
Oh dang candy orange would be awesome !
As far as I’m aware, all of Lexel’s drivers use a single pogo pad layout.
All of Emisar’s lights use a consistent pad layout too, ever since Emisar started adding pads (D4v2 and newer).
However, those are two different layouts.
HarleyQuin’s HQ Universal ProgKey works on both, but it’s necessary to move a couple wires to change the mapping when switching back and forth. This isn’t commercially available though; people basically have to build their own or find someone who makes them.
Emisar’s flashing kit uses a 4x2 layout, but the 2 unused pins are omitted, so it doesn’t work with Lexel’s 3x2 layout. At least, not without soldering on another pin or two.
So… long story short: The BLF LT1 Lantern has programming pads for updating the firmware, but no adapters for it are commercially available yet.
This lack of compatibility is very disheartening.
Any outlook for standardizing something and keeping to that in the future?
Agro:Candle mode runs the lantern with the last selected output level and tint right?
All modes share the same color temperature / tint setting. It can be ramped in almost any mode, by doing a “click, click, hold”.
Candle mode has its own brightness level, configured by holding the button to ramp up/down.
Do you think it would make sense to run the candle always on the warmest level regardless of the pre-set tint?

That mostly depends on getting people to cooperate, and getting companies to cooperate. And that’s … difficult.

Not really. However, you could use one of the auto-tint modes to get a somewhat similar effect.

I’ve been lurking for years and just signed up to get on the list for one! Very interested.
eugene188:… dude pulling out a pink or bright purple light……
Dangit - if we can get a purple TK edition FW3a, we should be able to get a purple LT1!
Though, TBH, I’d love a candy orange or dayglow yellow or fluorescent lime green or dazzling red a lot too. My wallet though - not so much.
HOLY damn those colours! Candy Orange?? Lime Green?? YES!
It’s like people who paint their cars ridiculous colours. I hate it, but I love it so much.

I’ve been told that if I get the lime green Charger Daytona I was looking at, I’ll also be getting a divorce. I think I can get away with another light (or 3). But then again, it IS a nice car….
Man, I saw this back in the very early stages, but I haven’t been around for a while. Turned out really nice.
Is it still possible to get on the list for two?
Thanks…

Nope not too late. I added you for 2.
sorry, may I also have 2 lanterns? thanks!
@Toykeeper: Can you please confirm that the UI chart (see ► here ◄) for the LT1 lantern is the final version? Sofirn sent me the (English) manual for translation today. I presume they will ship the initial batch with the English version only and include multi-language manuals in later batches. I intend to incorporate your nice UI chart into the updated manual (both English and German) that I also plan to host on my Sofirn sharepoint on Google Drive. If all works out as planned the manual might be able to download in two weeks from now.
Cheers,
Thomas

Do we want to sub in the production logo (your B&W or my colorized) or am I being too OCD on it?

The LT1 Andruil drawing has already been sent to Sofirn for the manual last week when Toykeeper posted it.
Interested!

I just checked the manual they sent to me. It contains the UI chart from Toykeeper but not the production logo. I think the colorful black-on-white logo would look better on white paper, wouldn’t it?
I suggest to put the logo here.
