*BLF LT1 Lantern Project) (updated Nov,17,2020)

In Anduril and as per Toykeeper’s UI chart electronic lockout is 4 clicks, momentary mode is 5 clicks.
Momentary moonlight until unlocked and momentary last brightness level until power disconnected are two different things.

You’re correct, (i missed that second hidden mode) which is pretty much the same as in the lock-out mode only a bit brighter. (though i noticed it seems to lock on that momentary mode, and needs to have the battery tum loosened to re-set it.

Okay, but that wasn’t the question. How do you leave that mode?

@Stereodude, easy peasy.

Just disconnect the tube quickly, and it’ll leave momentary.

The only way i know how to get out of that momentary mode is to remove the battery tube to reset it, (maybe Toykeeper can comment on the mode operation.

To be clear, it’s a quick removal of the battery that does the trick. You can wait as long as you like, but it’s pretty instant, in my experience with a range of different anduril flashed lights

indeed, it only takes a second to reset the 5-click momentary mode. (loosen the battery tube, the lantern blinks then tighten, its reset.

Back after several monthes away (multi factor story, not related to BLF) and i am happy to be on time for THE lantern :)

I have a lot to catch back and will do asap but i'd be very grateful if someone could tell me when the party will start (days, weeks or .. ?) and if there is an estimated date for the accessory pack as i did not find it neither on the first page nor in the few last ones !

Glad to see you again folks :)

I will have a video of the planned accessory pack soon, as for the LT1 lantern it should be going into production now and getting prepared fro the first order lot.

Finally, we have comments on the amount of time needed for the voltage on the input of the micro to drop enough to cause it to go through a reset and clear the mode.

That wasn’t so hard was it? :stuck_out_tongue:

Another 40 or 50 of those, and the collection might begin to border on the excessive… :confounded:

This light was meant to be cheaper than the Q8. I don’t think it is budget anymore.

It was never meant to be cheaper than the Q8.

For an 8x LH351D lantern with a injection molded high quality shade cover, included cable, a much more advanced driver, 49$US is quite the good price for such a high quality lantern.

I prefer paying for quality once without no problems, rather than having to deal with issues that’ll cost me more in the long run.

I bought some Blitzwolf cables a while back when this thread was talking about quality cables for the LT1. Does anyone have any suggestions on wall chargers for the LT1? I would have bought what Blitzwolf makes but they only sell them with an EU plug (I’m US).

Anker makes good stuff and sells on Amazon.

I’ve tried to keep up with this thread but may have missed details concerning colors after seeing some talk of offering them.
An orange or yellow would be fantastic as I don’t mind being able to find things a little easier when it’s dark.
Will different colors be offered after the initial run of black or is this a back-burner issue?
The seemingly imminent release of the LT1 has bolstered my restraint from buying other lights, need to have the cash to pounce when it’s ready!

First run will be black, and maybe a green and sand. V2 might have a red, blue, and orange options

Agreed. There was never any reason to believe that this lantern would be cheaper than a Q8. That’s crazy talk.

Moreover, the fact remains that there is NO lantern for sale anywhere at any price that can be compared to the LT1. Let me say it again another way: If you buy any lantern, anywhere, at any price, low or high, instead of the LT1, you ARE getting an inferior lantern. Of course, this doesn’t take into account collectability of antique and rare lanterns. Nor do I claim that every feature of the LT1 is superior. But the LT1 as a whole is unmatched.

I really like the idea of tint ramping. I was thinking a little while back that they should be some lights with this feature. Looks like my wish has been granted. Hope to see more lights like this in the future.

Definitely interested if its still going on
