Wrist watches. Post pics, if you EDC one!

Seiko day

Well i had to dig my old rotary out, hard to see all the patina(read beating) from 15yrs of heavy use. Sea, pools, drops and dings, working on cars…….its been there. I had removed the battery ages back, just to protect it from any potential leaks. It got a new one a month back, so be rude not to wear it. It has sentimental value to me.

The hand(only operates when chrono in operation) was sat 1 second before 12. Crown out as if to set time, press on the top right button to align. All perfect again. The actual seconds hand is the little red hand at 6’o clock.

… 1969 Omega Speedmaster Pro …

i like those
i think liev schreiber on ‘ray donovan’ wears this, it is something similar
what he wears on the show, is his personal watch
not a prop

WOW weklund, just wow. Love the speedmaster………stunning.
I have been pondering an expensive watch(if i can stop buying cheap ones!). The omega seamaster diver seems to be the one. Trouble is, how can i tell kids their holiday is on my wrist lol. I would love a blue sub, but even if i could afford the 10k for a 1991 flavour, i would not wear it anyway! Be too scared and i am pretty clumsy, truth be told.

Square eyes, square watch

Thanks … SMP is one of my favorite watches in my collection. I usually wear my old friend, vintage 1980 Mdl. 1680 Rolex Sub, on a daily basis. I am a retired General Contractor and Carpenter by trade. This ole sub has been in daily service on my wrist since I purchased it back in 1980. Tough watch which has served me well and still looks great.

Love it, a timeless time piece! :sunglasses: :+1:

… Tactico TC2 …

lumed bezel - never seen that before!

nice

Lots of microbrands have done it, and many modding parts suppliers like Yobokies, Dagaz and Long Island Watch offer them.

No clue why big brands like Seiko, etc. are so slow to get on the bandwagon…

Tissot PRC200

I’m not sure how to post pics on here. I have the Samsung Gear S3. Aside from being able to use it as a phone, it also has gps and turn by turn navigation. If I get sick of a watch face, I can choose from thousands to download and change them instantly. Only downside, it needs charged every few days.

I just bought this watch, the Timex T49981.

I wanted a second Timex digital watch that vibrates, and this one looks good to me.
