Emisar D3AA is available now

Family board game night EDC.

where is the pool cue???

Sand’s natural fine polish is fine sand.

I do, I’m a teaching assistent in secondary school, in biology class we do pencil drawings of biological subjects regularly and I insist on sharp pencils

mmm kay… I can see this  I watched Big Bang Theory before…… :+1:

Love my D4V2 it’s a fantastic light. However, I opted for the SST-20 5000k hoping for max power and throw, which it definitely delivers on high/turbo. Sadly as others have reported the tint is super green at anything less than about 80% brightness. It’s ugly.

I love the SST-20 4000k emitters in my D4S and FW3A tint-wise, though they are not quite as blisteringly bright.

Now I might just have to order another D4V2 with XPL-HI 3A emitters.

I wish Hank made it in titanium too

Yes, there will be cooper + titanium D4V2 Ti with the switch backlight.

on the site could you please add a 26350 battery to be able to buy it too? I mean you only letting us buy the 26650 so yep

Hell yeah… and I hope you can make the d1s-v2 with a short tube that we can actually put a 18350 and a plastic tube to make the battery not shake around pleease i know it looks silly but there are few of us that like silly things :stuck_out_tongue:

The 26350 tube can be purchased here,

Very excited about this! Any general ETA on availability?

Should be on October.

oh please no! I won’t be able to resist.

I want one of those in XP-L HI 3A, 3D, 4A, or 4D. I got to see a preview, and it’s really nice.

The switch backlight is a good change. It must be quite difficult to assemble these though, with so many wires in such a small space.

I am excited about this too. Unlikely that I will be able to resist.

Is it super heavy like v1? I was not a fan of that.

It’ll probably weigh about the same as the titanium+copper V1 did. Both materials weigh more than aluminum.

Titanium can be made to weigh less, but only because it is stronger so the material can be thinner without sacrificing structural integrity. But when the size and shape are the same, titanium is heavier than aluminum.

Aluminum is probably more practical most of the time. So, for practical purposes, I would configure the D4v2 to be black or grey aluminum with a steel bezel and pocket clip, with XP-L HI 3A. That is my favorite version currently sold in the store.

Yes. I’m an aware of the material properties, but I didn’t realize how much material was in the light in v1 until I got ti/cu. It was the super heavy. I’ll pass on v2 of it’s basically the same weight.

Will it do some cool stuff like indicate battery voltage or will it be a “dumb” backlight.

Please sir, switch backlight for D4SV2 also? :innocent:

While the main LEDs are on, the button LEDs mirror what the main LEDs are doing. So it blinks out battery voltage in battcheck mode, and blinks out temperature in tempcheck mode. It goes dim and bright in sync with the main LEDs, which indicates when it’s in regulated or hybrid modes and looks neat in lightning or biking mode.

While the main LEDs are off, the button LEDs mirror what the aux LEDs are doing — off, low, high, or blinking.
