Hats off to YLP

10 days from placing the order to delivery of a cute Panda 2M CRI in the Pacific NW.

cf. Messrs Banggood, who have yet to ship a headlamp order placed on the same day.

This is just a beginning of your positive surprises about YLP. Just wait for your Panda.
I’m really happy with mine.

What do you think of this light?
I am seriously considering a Panda 2 or 3 for caving.

I like it a lot; it is light, compact and well designed and finished. The beam is a pleasant creamy gold and floody, with a “short to medium operating distance” as the website states. I haven’t changed it from the factory default yet but the hidden menu should allow one to change the UI, eg 1lm moonlight, turbo on for 20 seconds rather than while you depress the button, and ramping rather than 3 modes. For normal use, the max output is the high level - 400lm. For caving you would need to consider whether the brightness and throw is sufficient.

This is what I’m trying to figure out.
I think the Panda 3.0 would be better for caving but I need to order 3 or 4 headlamps and the 2.0 has a lower price tag.

Panda 2 has IPx6 that may be not enough for caving.
I use v3.0 more than year for caving ,( including 2 expedition to Verevkina cave) and absolutely satisfied with it.

Thanks!
I forgot to consider IPx ratings!

I’m so impressed with my YLP Unicorn and happy I bought one

I’m still waiting for mine. Stuck at customs for a week already… :frowning:

Where can I buy YLP lights besides official shop at ylplight.com? Int EU shipment needed.

Nowhere AFAIK.

I was wondering the same thing. I just broke down and ordered it from Russia. Still waiting on it but, it really hasn’t been that long in overseas shipping time. 29 days or so I think.

I've bought Panda 2M CRI headlights from them twice. Two to three weeks delivery to USA both times.

YLP sent order & shipping confirmationss for both orders. Both times they landed in my spam folder, likely because of the Russian content in the sender & subject fields.
