NIGHTWATCH NI40 SBT-90-GEN2

Where on earth did you get your hands on a SBT90.2

I see they wrote the sbt90g2 led itself is expensive than the flashlight host Ni40 :open_mouth: idk if that true…hmm

If this beast can reach 1.2km to 1.5km and have able on turbo for atleast 3mins, I will buy it! :smiling_imp:

The “tunnel” beam seem to me a lot wider than the current the wider Xhp50.2, dedome which really makes it great!

I had vary in mind, only Niwalker and 1st to introduce sbt90g2. I wonder where are the rest brand, I bet some of them are really good in making a throw light become a performances! I mean, pushing the light development towrd the edge of its limits. As like before, we see convoy and astrolux. I not sayin it bad, but what i trying to say is, competition is where the best light is born. Hehe. Peace!!

$34.00 USD each X 3 plus $30.00 USD for DHL shipping….

Is that from the Chinese company lantend?

I emailed them and plan to get a couple.

The head is nowhere big enough to hit 1.2km. Need something the size of an FT03 for that. Probably will be a bit under 1km.

Yep wendy@lantend.com

To give an idea for comparison, the Acebeam X65 mini is rated at 492,000 candela = 1,403 meters throw

Oh acebeam k75 was a sbt90 g2…opppss :disappointed: . nvr seen it. I often to neglect “expensive” section… but, image above clear showing a different, based on the “tunnel” beamshot. K75 has smaller hotspot than ni40.

Updates?

at first it look like the Ni40 outthrow the X65 mini, but nope

look at the brightness on the house, the X65 mini is clearly winner

I’d like to see more beamshots of this light if possible.

someone tell me if the LED only the 90.2 might be able to fit in the emisar d1s would love that combo :stuck_out_tongue: or let’s hope emisar d1s-v2 is coming with something like this led?

Beamshot please…

Gheez! What a light, 4000 lumen ansi on turbo. Thank a lot…

Seems like the 40T is perfect for this LED…now Hank has no excuse not to put it in the Noctigon K1

Nagonka:

MOON: 50lm
Low: 570lm
Mid: 1050lm
High: 1900lm
Turbo: 4950lm
Turbo after 30s: ~ 4000lm
Turbo pulls out about 22A from a 40T

Also said a full Shockli 5500 does only 3750 :frowning:

Someone else said it reaches 70.6°C after 1.5 minutes. There was no step down even after 3 minutes :open_mouth:

Hopefully, someone would mention their respective candela measurement, but just know the lumen value.

I would not say it’s perfect. It has it’s pros and cons. Some people might want longer Turbo time so they use a less powerful battery. Some people might want the longest runtime at med brightness level so they use a higher capacity battery. Pick the best battery for your needs.

Received mine yesterday. It’s a nice light. I measure 240kcd with a 40t. I was hoping and expecting a bit more. Like in the 300 range. I need to measure the lumens later.
But the memory is kinda finicky. When turning the light off in turbo, sometimes the light will turn on in low mode, high mode, or turbo. And I had the light on turbo for 5 or more seconds before turning off. And I waited 5 or more seconds before turning back on.
I tried like 20 times. I will test it some more when I get home from work today.
