Banggood order I canceled but still shipped 3 days later

yeah I also notice Banggood is becoming a joke.

I paid for two Astrolux MF01 Mini Copper and i entered wrong address (my fault).

Got on live chat with them to correct the address and they cancelled my order. :rage: :rage:

They kept the money for a week a now and i was real piss off today…went on live chat again and they said they will prioritise the refund within 24hrs.

I would just make a paypal claim. The only reason I use BG is because they take paypal. I have never had an issue with refunds from Aliexpress(no paypal) or Ebay, but BG makes you work for it. If you have a screenshot of the chat use that in your claim.

Be careful with paypal’s “Guarantee” though. They force you to send the item back which for me cost $80 min from Canada for a small item back to China. I paid less than $45 for the item. Even with Paypal’s $30 US shipping promotion it simply didn’t make sense to send the malfunctioning item back for a refund.

$80 for shipping ouch! So, I'm already out $250 because Banggood basically stole it from me, so I'm not sure I want to send it back for another $80 or more only for Banggood to come up with some more shady excuses as they seem to be on a roll right now. I may just call it a day and take the initial loss and cancel my account with BG and be done with it all.

PayPal covers $30 US as part of their promotion. Many places I checked had a minimum of 1lb shipping which was well over $100, fedex was $150 I believe.

PayPal requires it to be tracked then they can force a refund. Take a video as proof of you in the post office showing you sent the item and use a tracked shipping option from Canada post.

I guess BG saw my thread here as they have responded and said I can refuse delivery of the package at the post office and they will refund me minus about $6.00 once the post office tracking shows "returned to sender" online. I will give that a try and see how it goes but I get a feeling this is going to take a long time if ever so I need to remember how long I can wait before I make a paypal claim.

What phone do you want to get?

On BG, be 100 % sure when you submit an order, if not, wait couple of days to decide. It’s a pain to cancel an order. I had to chat 1 hour until they cancelled one of mine. Seems like it’s a top down order from manager to the support team, because I chatted with two different supporters in short time, both started the same process. If you once should experience this, say you don’t need the product, if they are still hard, then threaten to publish the chat or to tell your story on a forum with huge amount of members.

Long ago (before I knew about blf), I placed an order with bg and realized I would not be living at the location I ordered from by the time the order would get there, so I cancelled it about 15 minutes later and was informed that it had already shipped and could not be cancelled; I still order from them every once in a while and have always gotten my order in 30 days or so.
I hope whoever got my package is happy with it.
Just be careful with payal also; it is no longer the same as it was.

The best solution would be not to accept the parcel so it gets back to china

when its on the way back open paypal claim

They’ve been consistently doing 6 days or less with my last ~5 orders to Canada. It’s astounding

Yes, I think that is the best way to go, I'll give it a go, it will be my first ever paypal claim.

I realize that now. I think like many companies, once they grow to a certain size, they start to act recklessly because they can afford to because the numbers are behind them.

I'm waiting for a deal on a phone with a decent camera. Probably S8 or S8+. Gave away my S9 to my cousin and would like another phone now.

You gotta have a lot of patience to go onto the chat.

99% of the time they are trying to act blur and beat around the bush, brush you off…

Avoid your simple question, ask u to wait, come back and repeat everything all over again, etc…

In many cases, they will ask u to wait for 24-48 hours for a reply thru email. No reply after 48 hours. You will chat again with them and again, they will tell you to wait another 24-48 hours. :rage: :rage: :rage:

My girlfriend just got the Xiaomi Mi 9T pro, Its an awesome phone for the price. You get the current gen top of the line CPU sd855 and a 48mp camera rear camera plus a zoom camera and a wide lens. Camera app is decent it has a proper manual mode.

The battery life is awesome last 2 days with medium use. Plus 20mp front camera.

Only down side would be the screen resolution its only full HD. The phones cheaper than a Samsung s9 here in Australia.

If You buy any Xiaomi buy the International version or else you have access to google apps/ store.

Isn’t there a Banggood US? You should be able to send it there especially if it is in their inventory. Google Banggood US and start a chat with them and maybe they can help. Shipping wouldn’t be as much if you can get them to accept the return. May be worth a try. I ordered a Convoy L2 and they were going to let me send it there but I decided to keep it when they provided a partial refund. It was the wrong color.

^ It seems the best way is to refuse receiving it at the PO, so I am going that route and will then open a pp dispute like Lexel suggested.

I have a couple of tel numbers through family members, so yesterday got a free Huawei P20 Pro with no markup in the monthly bill, so I took that. Camera is pretty amazing, I couldn't be happier.

A long time ago the presenter (the word DJ wasn’t even invented yet) of one of the first top-pop programs on TV told his audience: if you think things are good, tell your friends. If you think things can be better, tell me. We all have had mishaps with one or more sellers, but that’s not the rule. If were are honest, it’s an exception.
August 7nd I ordered a cheap flashlight from Banggood. Got a thank-you for the order, and a notification from PayPal that the money was payed. I added a line to my spreadsheet and waited. With BG the average time between the email of PP and the doorbell is 23 days. After 3 weeks I looked in “my orders” and could find no order (?). I immediately emailed BG and got an answer within 24 hours. Your order was received, and the light was shipped the following day. Maybe your order did not show up in “my orders” because you were not logged in while ordering (?). Shipping can take up to 35 working days, please wait a few days longer.
So I waited an extra week and sent another email. Within 24 hours I got an email they were very sorry, but things could take more time because of unforseen weather and turmoil. Please wait another 10 days.
Day 60 I sent a third email, as polite as I could be. Each email shorter than the one before and making it very clear they were facing a PP claim. After two full months I got a third email, granting me a full refund. And If the light somehow does arrive in the future, would I be so kind to pay for it. PP has notified me the money is back.
NB: China and NL are worlds apart. In every aspect. But I never had the feeling BG was trying to deceive me.
