Dr jones driver - turbo mode?

Built an s2 for minimal resistence, it’s only pulling 10A with xpl hi triple config. Is there a turbo mode? I feel like it should be pulling at least 15A

Depends on emitters and bins i guess. I also have different results with the same driver in different emitters setups.

Not to mention battery, switch spring...

What are you using to measure your current?

Clamp meter and 18gauge copper wire.

Its xpl hi v2 3c

Battery is a vtc5a, soldered copper button at the driver and a high amped switch with bypassed springs using 18 guage wire

Dang...i can only say “maybe emitters”...

I guess, just wondering if theres a separate turbo mode or better yet, anyone know where I can find the instruction to his driver?

I’m not sure which driver you have and I’m not any where close to being the most experienced person here. However, if you have one of the h17f or h17fx then I think here are the instructions you want. 17mm DrJones H17Fx Driver w/ lucidrv2 - 7135 + FET

Scroll down and you should see them. I think my driver came programmed with something like 3 modes and none of them were turbo. So it might be that the turbo mode is not set. It may be worth checking the thermal control too. I hope that helps.
