FW3A, a TLF/BLF EDC flashlight - SST-20 available, coupon codes public

That clip would be worth 10 times the light

You don’t know how much he charges for the light.

The 18350 & 18500 tubes are now available at their store.

Nice. Wonder if they will be sold somewhere else. And which design they finally chose because the images show two different versions.

edit: Is that even a legit shop? I haven’t heard of it before.

Out of curiosity, what is needed? How doable?

Anyone else see the FW21 on Lumintop site with trit slots in head? Looks to be the 21700 version of FW3A. Will be interesting to see review.

There is a thread here somewhere…and an interest list on m4d m4x site

FYI many reports of that light with too long battery tube (doesn’t fit flat tops) and too short of clip.

Thanks justanotherguy! Don’t know how I missed this.

Thanks contacter! Just caught up and looks like they are addressing battery tube issue. Clip is not as much of an issue for me as is all of those trit slots. It seems to be a limited release so I will pass. Thanks again!

Not sure, but Neal is selling the 18350 and 18500 tubes now.

$4.95 + shipping, and free shipping for orders of $25 or more (I think)

SS Bezel, Deep carry clip and a Lanyard ring pictured… ahh Tactical Ring…

Orderd a 18350 tube and deep carry clip :sunglasses:

Ordered the 18350 tube just because. Also the SS bezel and the tactical ring to try (don’t use the clip so should he able to attach a lanyard on the shorty tube.

Any coupon codes for the accessories?

Martin has some for the Turboglow Switch Cap and Turboglow Gasket on his deals website if that’s what you are looking for :sunglasses:

Could someone tell me what it the weight of FW3T+Cu? I’m thinking of geting one but I don’t want to end up with something to heavy for EDC.

my full copper w/battery weighs 168g/6.0oz

Illumn has it listed at ~120g for the Cu/Ti version without a cell and ~53g for the Al version without a cell.

I EDC mine and I don’t notice the weight in my pocket (I use the pocket watch pocket in my jeans for the light, no clip). I’m 6’3” and ~250lbs though, so a few oz here or there isn’t going to make a big difference to me.

Some weights of lights WITH battery installed (Sony VTC5A)

Emisar D4 Ti-Cu ……………………………………………………………………. 169g
FW3T Ti-Cu ………………………………………………………………………… 137g
Emisar D4 Ti body, tailcap and bezel, but with aluminum pill …………………. 133g
Emisar D4 Al ………………………………………………………………………… 115g
FW3A aluminum …………………………………………………………………… 100g

I also wonder how is heat management on the FW3Ti + Cu in comparison to the standard FW3A. Does it last longer on turbo due to Cu head but provide lower sustainable output as would be my guess?

EDIT:
Thanks for the replies above, this will be quite an useful list.
