FYI many reports of that light with too long battery tube (doesn’t fit flat tops) and too short of clip.

Thanks contacter! Just caught up and looks like they are addressing battery tube issue. Clip is not as much of an issue for me as is all of those trit slots. It seems to be a limited release so I will pass. Thanks again!

Ordered the 18350 tube just because. Also the SS bezel and the tactical ring to try (don’t use the clip so should he able to attach a lanyard on the shorty tube.

Could someone tell me what it the weight of FW3T+Cu? I’m thinking of geting one but I don’t want to end up with something to heavy for EDC.

my full copper w/battery weighs 168g/6.0oz

Illumn has it listed at ~120g for the Cu/Ti version without a cell and ~53g for the Al version without a cell.

I EDC mine and I don’t notice the weight in my pocket (I use the pocket watch pocket in my jeans for the light, no clip). I’m 6’3” and ~250lbs though, so a few oz here or there isn’t going to make a big difference to me.

I also wonder how is heat management on the FW3Ti + Cu in comparison to the standard FW3A. Does it last longer on turbo due to Cu head but provide lower sustainable output as would be my guess?
