Smallest single cell thrower (pocketable): Lumintop GT Mini should be replaced by Lumintop GT Mini with 18350 tube.
Or, if modded lights count, BLF GTvn Micro.
I also would not recommend a GT Mini over the D1S to anyone, but that’s just me.
Also, the Acebeam W30 (single 21700) out-throws all the other single-cell flashlights listed. In particular, it should be listed for best single-21700, though the price premium should be noted
Best AA(14500) - should include the Wuben E05. Great little light that comes with a decent 14500 USB RECHARGABLE battery. When there is a sale, it is hard to beat.
Looking at your "Best LED Flashlight of 2019" list:
The Sofirn C01 reads "The Sofirn C01 has been the most popular AAA flashlight on Budgetlightforum of 2018" though it's a 2019 list
I would wager the Lumintop IYP07 is a better AAA light than the C01
For your "Best Tactical Flashlight 2019" list:
I think the Armytek Dobermann Pro is worth a mention as a no-frills 18650 light, and a worthwhile budget option for those looking at the Malkoff
The Nitecore P18 is worth a mention as the shortest light with a tail switch, momentary turbo and strobe, and a reflector
The Thrunite Archer has mode memory with no shortcuts to high, so I really wouldn't consider this a tactical light. Maybe the Armytek Partner A2 would be a better option?
In the single 18650 category, I think you should add the Sofirn SC31B. This is a very solid light that could be handed to anyone without risk of misuse or abuse. It is not the highest performer, but it is rock solid and is an amazing “thrower” in a small tube light.
They’re not quite in general availability yet (just started to process orders at Banggood), but the MF01 Mini looks like a really impressive 26650 light. It’s the only reason I have been able to hold back from buying a D4Sv2.
That said, the D4Sv2 is also a really nice 26650 light.
I also have to pile on the SC31 bandwagon. It’s damn near the perfect ‘decent’ light for someone who neither knows nor cares much about lights as a hobby, but needs one as a simple tool.
I also ordered one of those and am planning to give it away to my brother as he is somewhere between a muggle and a flashaholic (and I have a few 26650 cells that need to be used). Between the USB charging, high output, and attractive finish I think it’ll be a hit. I may end up keeping it though and think I should order another just in case. Probably the only thing I can find to dislike about it is all the different color AUX LEDs it has… I prefer RGB or all the same/similar color over rainbow style AUX lighting.
Best EDC 21700 category should have the Convoy S12 added. Also the heading for that category reads “18650 EDC Flashlights” when it should read “21700 EDC Flashlights.”
Thanks for the giveaway and for your reviews. I have found your site quite useful in the past.
