As for improvements. I can suggest the usual customer care being upgraded a bit. The flashlights pictures on page could have the emitter and possbily driver be clearly seen in the dismantled view. That's a thing we really like!
I bought my TR-1200 body from Lightake and realy loved the deal, ordered my Ultrafire C3 SS as I knew LT has the most "genuine" Ultrafire's available. I'll buy more, that's what I'm sure of.
I'd love to see some more DIY hosts other than P60's, with better heatsinking and different reflector shapes, for us those are always in search of the ultimate technology flashlight they could have. Well engineered XM-L lights, more reasonably priced right angle lights are still on my list.
Releasing coupons always makes me feel at home with a store, you know, feels special ;)
I was expecting a heavy random post (such as this) to pile up the thread reply count but it is still looking pretty civilized. Might have to do that the end of this year is near and for once many could not care much to type on a forum. I'm waiting my oven to beeps my long awaited meal. Untill then i'll be lurking around here since i already did all i had to do for today and im just relaxing and warming with my fluffy cat who does enjoy being in the centre of attention atm.
What a spam post! :D
Who is going to enter the new year in the next few hours? I'm still 9h away. And a bottle of good sparkling wine is looking at me with desire to be popped.
And that's in Portugal. You'd usually get much nicer weather than we do - we here probably have about 500 phrases for rain, most of them obscene.
The weather here is similar, just a bit colder. At least the rain washed away all the annoying snow. I was at work before the sun rose and it had set by the time I went home. In between, the big flashlight wasn't very visible. But one writer did say about my hometown, "The rainy season ends on the 31st December and starts on the 1st January."
I am not very often online but every time I come to this place there is a lot of new interesting and funny stuff which I don't even try to catch up with, BLF is really a great place!
About Lightake: I agree with others that a more extended Flashlight-DIY section would make Lightake more interesting. Even more important do I rate accuracy and reliability of given specs (be it flashlights, drivers, LEDs, etc). I definitely prefer to shop at a place where I can trust the information the seller is publishing even if it meant a slightly higher price compared to others due to the extra work that involves.
Happy birthday BLF! and Happy new years to everyone!
I purchased a few lights from lightake and I must say, I was very impressed with shipping time and packaging. I also appreciate the selection of P60 hosts that they carry, and the prices that they are offered at!
I quite appreciate that Lightake carries a number different name brands that don't really appear much on other Chinese sites (Mr Lite, Fenix, Olight, etc.), but I would like to see a little bit more in terms of programmable lights.
This is a good idea for LT, the forum itself and for us.. thank you!
I think you should sell DIY parts, and for example, Maglite DIY parts, like dropins, drivers, 26500 and 32600 batteries and so. There is almost nothing of that in chinese markets with International free shipping and low prices..
If you do this, LT will be the most flashaholic site, and you will get more and more customers from all around the world.
If it is possible, include more images of the items with more detail and, images of dismantled flashlights.
^ I agree! get some DIY parts for mag lights. more DIY parts are necessary for great business with this website!
LT has some good flashlights, but not enough parts for me. Prices seem good too, and feedback is good (i honestly have not bought nething yet, due to the fact im low on money)
Also, more D sized led lights!
and maybe some good LED floodlights!
btw a few hours and it will be 2011 on the east coast of america!
hopefully i can celebrate with a new flashlight??? lol
