WTB Cheap Flashlights/Parts for Mod Fodder (Convoy, LEDs, MCPCBs, etc)

I am looking to get into modding and am in the market for some parts to practice with: LEDs to practice reflowing, maybe some Convoy hosts and basic drivers, etc. Thought I might ask here before I put an order in at Mountain. If you have any junk to get rid of let me know. Thanks!

How about an electronic one? Folomov edc c4? I can include mod stuff but I don’t have an eswitch driver if you want to swap that.

You’re in luck, I want to clean out my mod’ing drawer. I will see what LEDs, stars, drivers, I have. And I have a BLF A6 that needs a driver replacement.

Definitely interested! I sent you a PM, let me know what you have available. I will surely take the A6 at least.

Check it out

First up is the MCPCBs, LEDs, and a TIR lens

  1. This is real gem. It’s from MtnElectronics, and it’s a 3 Nichia 219b 90+ CRI on a Noctigon Triple… aka “(3) Nichia NVSL219BT D220 4000K 90+ CRI LEDs on 20mm 3XP Copper Noctigon + Pre-Bridged” (paid $13)
  2. Cree XM-L2 3000K CRI 80+ on Noctigon (paid $5 + $3)
  3. A brand new, factory sealed Cree XM-L2 3000K CRI 80+ (paid $5)
  4. Latticebright star and XM-L2 sized Chinese LED (paid ?)
  5. XM-L2 sized Chinese LED (paid ?)
  6. TIR lens (paid ?)

Next is a brand new, never used, Intel cooler for bench-testing LEDs (without cooling LEDs burn up fast)

  1. 12v Intel cooler with solder paste factory applied (paid $9)
  2. Replacement thermal paste (paid $8 new, but it’s not full anymore)

And some AA flashlights that work like new… Chinese new. haha

  1. pair of UtraFire Zoomies (paid ?)
  2. travel charger. I love gutting these and using them to ‘wire’ up an 18650 for bench use. (paid ?)

And a good looking BLF A6

  1. BLF A6 with XPL-3D (5000K) emitter. It hasn’t seen any EDC use, and it Turbo’s great. But the driver needs replacement so the turbo timeout and low-voltage-protection will work again.

And a USB programmer. You probably thing you can’t do this, but BLF is very helpful, and you don’t need to know coding for some simple stuff.

  1. USBASP V2.0 (paid $8?)

And 2 zoomies and 2 batteries, pimped out with MtnElectronics Drivers, LEDs, and Noctigon Stars. Comes with the old driver and LED/star you see too.

Paid $75 for batteries and mods.

And a 40W variable power Weller solder station

  1. Weller WLC100 40-Watt Soldering Station ($35)

So that’s almost exactly $175 worth of value for everything listed.

I’d be happy with getting $90. And you are saving way more than $85 because you will not need to pay a dozen shipping fees to get all this stuff elsewhere.

I missed some stuff in the last post and had to edit it. Please refresh and have another look.
