So I just received mine and put a 30Q in it. I got the sst20 4000k version. Is the 30Q a bit too high current for this version? I have not noticed any issues but can’t see any specific warnings about using high current cells.
Should be fine. 30Q peaks at 20A, settles at about 15A, thats max 5A pr. emitter. The SST-20’s can handle currents above 6A, so no worrys 
The driver will throttle down due to heat, waaay before the emitters takes any damage
Can anyone measure the inside diameter of the Fireflies PL47 gen II tube? What 21700 batteries are you using? I bought 2 Shockli IMR Purple 4550mah, and they are somewhat thicker than normal, 21.5mm or so. Will they serve for the PL47 GEN 2?
Yep, having the same problem with my 26650 Shockli batteries, they want come out my Haikelite SC04…
I don’t have a gen II, but my gen I measures 22.2mm(I assume gen II has still the same batterie tube)
Thanks for your reply. Well, if the tube measures 22.2mm there would be no problem to use my 21700 Shockli. Good news.
By the way, I also have 26650 of Shockli, IMR 5500mah, and they fit without problems in my Haikelite SC01 and SC02.
Next week I hope to receive the PL47 Gen 2 and I will tell if there are problems or not with the 21700 of Shockli.
I just put a Shockli 4550mah 21700 in, and it fits fine. A bit snug but not tight. Also a Liitokala 4000mah 21700 fits too.

I red somewhere that flashing the Gen I was only possible when the aux leds were disconnected.

confuse a ramping mode .when i press 1 click. its high level. but i press to level down and press to off.
when i click again. its jump to high level again. not remember last level.

Looks like it is on manual memory mode.
When light is on, press 5H(4 clicks and hold the 5th).That should solve your problem

My E07 with sst 4000k isn’t that warm
They are SST20 4000K 95CRI, I liked them in the MF01S and I repeated in this one.

Way more than the Gen 1, about the same as on the FF E07.
