Ive been unable to find definitive confirmation that colors will be offered. It seems possible and maybe even likely, that Sofirn may not even include color options for the GB, which obviously will come as a disappointment to many that are waiting thinking colors WILL be an option.
I like how the discussion is going regarding the colors. Good contact with factory and good feedback from BLF with great color suggestions. I hope this works out for the group buy since I added to my quantity to get more colors.
The deeper stronger colors are what I was hoping for. The blaze orange and the deep green and possibly the flat earth are what I want and will order most of my lanterns.
If the rich deep anodized colors are offered, I am all in. I am less interested in just flat coatings that look more like paint. (might buy one flat earth) but really would buy mostly anodized. If the current colors posted on orange and green samples are what is offered, I will buy black only. They seem washed out to me.
It’s probably irrelevant, but I would pay more for the richer anodized colors I like them that much.

PG&E Threatening another multi-day power outage starting Wednesday. 
I’m not entirely sure. At minimum, it should have newer firmware, a newer manual, and some sort of additional scratch resistance, I think… but it sounds like there may be other details too. I don’t have all the info about it.

Is the scratch resistance like hard anodizing vs powder coat etc.?
Same here, the shiny green I will pass on and go for black. For a good matte option (Desert tan/OD green/DigiCamo) I am happy to pay extra.

All kinds of colors. Some or all can be done at home.
Some of the ceracoat information says a lifetime of a year. This material is commonly used for firearms. A year lifetime would not seem interesting to a firearm owner.
There is a chart in the upper right corner that implies longer life.

I received an e-mail today letting me know that I had a new private message at BLF from “Bean spiller”. Not having had any contact with anybody named “Bean spiller” previously, that I could remember, I followed the link and it took me to a page where all of my old read messages were displayed on a single page, but nothing new. I went back to the messages listing page, and nothing new. I am a bit disappointed. I was hoping that I had received a code to purchase an LT1 or four. Does anybody know who “Bean spiller” may be? Or what this may have been about?
Bean spiller is/was a disruptive member whom I believe has been deleted and all PM’s associated with the ID have been deleted too. Sorry, but the PM had nothing to do with the availablity of your LT1
