$10 R5 TIR 14500 (with lantern mode? the notoriously strange Sipik SK51): http://www.meritline.com/cree-led-flash-light-xp-g-r5-convex-zoom---p-77141.aspx?source=s2010&strcoup=&dealid=32395
Maglites starting @ $13 (can't miss: 3D Camo bodied [older, I presume] LED for $25 & FWIW everything I've ordered from Amazon Warehouse has been flawless): http://www.amazon.com/s/qid=1333039192/ref=sr_st?page=1&me=A2L77EE7U53NWQ&rh=n%3A1267878011%2Cp_4%3AMagLite&bbn=1267878011&sort=price
Placed the order for this combo pack instead of for the DQG Tiny III which i had first in mind; the groub buy is currently still going on. i am sooooo pleased (and i am the critical kreisler who knows his AAA torches very well as you know!!) with the Fenix LD01!! Trust me .. the LD01 R4 is theeeeee best 1xAAA production light. ( i saved 6$ on the deal, google cpf coupon codes )
you can ask the seller to check the LED status (centricity, beam beauty, tint, ..) before they ship it, no problem. check my sig, mine is on the way!!
@ kreisler: "Trust me .. the LD01 R4 is theeeeee best 1xAAA production light."
Hmm. Whilst I trust you, I don't trust that LD01 split ring anchor point. Looks like same old design weakness inherent with so many alu 'keychain' lights, which is the main reason why I'm seriously considering the DQG tiny. That said, I will of course read your LD01 review with great interest..
Hi Lensman, the split ring anchor point is the same weak aluminum hole as always (iTP A3, Olight i3, Brinyte PD03, …) that’s why i got the Klarus MiX6 and iTP A3 Ti ;); those 2 lights have great anchor points. the aluminum lights are recommendable because aluminum is lighter than titanium and stainless steel and copper and whatnot.
This is probably Fenix Outfitter's site on eBay. The price is $34.95 or Best Offer but I tried reducing the price of a holster by 1$ and it wasn't accepted. The good news is it's shipped from the US.
