new JAXMAN light-M1,USB powered strong headlight

Does this use the XHP50.2 3V emitter?

At just 8W of power, isolated battery and massive heatsinking area I think it will do just fine. All the components inside can handle very high temps without affecting performance. We usually consider 60°C very hot but even if there was a battery in there it can run at 80°C.

hi friend, it is working at 8Watts approx. and with more heatsink in the host. we have test it, the temperature increasing will be about 27 c. so the present solution is no problem.

hi, surely. if BLFers need it, we can. But,we cant provide assembling guide, and aftersale service…
Too busy in human resources…

Pardon me.

hi friend, yeah. the flood version is a XHP50.2 3V version inside.

hi will34, I think this with you in great. high. strong agreement, absolutely, undoubtedly, unchangeable, ever, never…. :person_facepalming:

for a simple and practical tool, the flashlight, especially a Jaxman <20 watts flashlight, I trust the old British saying:

THE SIMPLE IS THE BEST

and I want add 1 word, SOLID, for a simple flashlight.

and I also have a very small opinion, that is let flashlights to be TOOL much, not a TOY much. I am waiting the criticisms from you.

Yes, you’re right guys. I just did expect some more output than 800lm from XHP50.2 which I read after posting my doubt.
All good, we’ll take care of this light’s guts. It seems to be leaving China now.

hi dont hurry. hold on….
China is some big, so that it will take few days to leave the last Chinese shipping station :frowning:

Sure, no worries. Not the first Jaxman ordered (was lucky enough to participate in your short Z1 and X1 hosts actions - please repeat!)

I assume this reply is to me because I asked about E2L host versions. All you have to do is sell them to us, we’ll do the rest. Building them is not difficult.

If we didn’t treat flashlights like toys you wouldn’t have as many sales. If people solely used flashlights as a tool this forum wouldn’t exist, we play with our lights at least 10 times as much as we actually use them for real. Don’t worry about how we use them, just sell them to us.

I give you the money. You give me the flashlight. I shine it in my eyes. End of transaction.

I like the concept. Though to really make it fly one should somehow make the powerbank connection waterproof.
I know there are some waterproof USB plugs and sockets. Using such plug would be easy but powerbank availability is likely low…

What colour temperature CCT tint for both xhp 50.2 and xml2?

Can you eloborate more on lumen and mode?

Also wondering how it perform on long time usage…?

Any blf’er own this would share some experience or beamshot or any thought shall welcome…

I come to interested with it…so help guide me…

hi, I had not visit BLF for days… just found your quesitions. sorry for late reply.

The CCT for the xhp50.2 is 6000K( the LED on M1 is a 3v version,so we have not other tint xhp50.2 now). the XML2 led we have 6000,5500,and 4300K.

For a headlamp, we set a simple mode in mass production . it is some hard to change the mode for you. As the power input for more lumens, we think most powerbank can only support 2A current max, so we let it working in 8W.

THANKS A LOT.

Clever idea. In extreme cold, you can keep your power bank inside your jacket, and battery performance will not drop. You could also keep one version on the headband, and the other in the pouch with the power bank. Use throw while hiking on low or medium, switch to flood at the campsite. I would be interested to see how the USB input resists water, so the headband could be used in the rain. Worst case, you could tape the connection with electrical tape.

Any chance we will see a different emitter in the ‘throw’ version? XP-L HI or even XHP35

hi xpl hi is no problem. while the xhp35 needs 12V input

Will there be any more Jaxman Z1 hosts available?

Sorry if this question does not belong in this thread but questions are answered well here.

for host, I am just want to say: if there will be no aftersale trouble, I had made all hosts onsale.
most time, the buyers will have some un reasonable questions…. because we are so far eachother, and languages difference, it is really hard to deal with host order problems.

while I would like provide few for BLFers.

Thank you, Jaxman, for offering nice hosts for BLF’s modders. If I have a host and there are any questions I can always ask on BLF.

Maybe you could just offer some hosts to purchase with a general payment link.
