Wow, another giveaway. Allas I’m not on Fakebook. Never have, never will. It’s like a medical condition.
My wife is on Fakebook, but hates flashlights. She is always trying to loose the Ti Lim.Edition I gave her.
Well, another light going to a muggle. Who writes in his/her first and only post on BLF that the Manker smelled fantastic when it came fresh out of the box. But then it stopped working and smelled all funny. Like throwing a plastic bottle in a burn barrel.
@ Mankerlights : Your flashlights are interesting.
As many people here, I would like to have informations about the new models.
But I don’t use Facebook. So I’ll pass these.
Manker, thank you for the GAW, although I will also not be in, as I have no FB account!
I guess we all realize that FB is a very important tool for the products dissemination and I’m sure a lot of “flashaholics” are FB users.
However, I am sure that many of your potential costumers, those who like your brand and that are interested in knowing, reviewing, spreading information and led more people to buy your products, are HERE on BLF and probably don’t have FB account, as seen above and in countless other threads.
So, I guess what we all mean and kindly suggest is for you to make a BLF driven Giveaway, so that the “geek” flashlight community can participate and be able to know your products!
[ I also guess that many of us kindly suggest to make some revision of your User Interface “model” to make your flashlights even more appealing, but that is for another situation! ]
Again, thanks for the GAW, and I hope you can consider making a BLF driven Giveaway
From a retailer’s point of view, the whole point of the Giveaway is to create marketing and awareness via Social Media.
I completely understand why Manker does this via Facebook, as the same reach to potential new customers would not be possible via BLF.
On the flipside, I also understand that when announcing this on BLF, those without facebook will feel left out, and I agree that many here on BLF will be the ones who post in depth reviews that many others will reference.
Kudos to Manker for acknowledging this concern on BLF, and looking forward to the BLF Manker giveaway.
Is that the thing where people with no life snap pictures of their food and post it for all the world to see? Like, “ooh, I ate scrambled eggs, here have a look and die with envy…” or whatever.
I never understood what would drive people to do that. They must be empty and dead inside…
