RD6006 feedback:
use RD6006 to make a power supply, looks nice and performs well, waiting for higher current version

Does the RD6006 have low or high side current measurement shunt?
Does it cut negative or positive in off state?
if the green terminal has more protection, then when do you have to use red terminal ?
Hi friend
thank you very much for your message
let me answer your question one by one
1, we use low side current measurement shunt
2, positive
thank you for your question
1, green port is for charging battery , have more protection for charger battery, but less some function than red port
so as our suggestion, if you want charge the battery, please use the green, if you use it as power supply, please use red
My case was damaged in transit. < sad > Something heavy crushed the front of the package. The front is bent & twisted about 2cm.
I am not sure what to do. I messaged RD Tech on AliExpress. I could try and bend it back.
I have reply you on aliexpress
Update:
RD Tech suggested I open a dispute on AliExpress. AliExpress responded to the dispute in less than one day. AliExpress shipping accepted responsibility.
I am ordering another case
you can share your power supply after assembly, and you can try to reshape the fisrt case, so that you can get two
RD6006 feedback:
good item, it performs well, constant voltage and constant current output, and the WiFi board can work normally, it is worthy to order one, waiting for higher current version

I’m terrible at metalworking. I smashed the bent case into shape using a 7kg barbell and a block of wood. Yes, I hit it with a barbell.
The bent case works better than I though it could. It looks 2nd quality. I will use the new case when it arrives and save the first case for parts or a 2nd power supply.
Burn in and quick calibration check. So far working very well.
First, make sure my inexpensive DMM is ok:
Next, a quick check of the RD6006.
I’ll do some more checks tomorrow.
I’ll do some more checks tomorrow.
if you want to reshape the case, you need a hammer to hit the curved place gently, the case material is soft. and waiting for your test, you can contact me if you have any questions when using it, and I cannot see the picture because I cannot access the picture link :person_facepalming:
