Wuben L60 zoomie will be on sale for $25.83 or cheaper on 11/11

Does anyone have any experience with this light? It looks very interesting. The reflector is white instead of black. It will be on sale 11/11 for $25.83 and there are additional coupons.

Looks like its capabilities are similar to any generic zoomie, except that it has USB charging. I think the Wowtac A3S is a bit more appealing, were I to get a cheap zoomie.

Why do you say that? The L60 is cheaper, brighter, throws farther, and has built-in usb recharge.

Because I have one of their other lights,I can say that the quality of these lights is very good.

The A3S is slimmer, I trust its waterproofing a bit more (though Wuben’s advertised waterproof USB port is above-average), and it has Thrunite’s e-switch UI with shortcuts while the Wuben has a blink-to-change-modes mechanical switch with SOS in the main mode rotation (and it’s not clear if the memory is on-time or off-time). The A3S is available on US Amazon shipped from the US, which is much more convenient than Aliexpress for people in the US; it’s often on Amazon for other regions as well.

Where did you see the SOS is built into the main mode? I couldn’t find any info on that. If that is true, Wuben just killed a light with good potential like Manker did to all of their lights.

EDIT: just got an answer from Wuben. SOS is hidden. Double click for SOS.

I thought I saw a UI diagram that seemed suggest that on the product page, but it’s not there, and I may be thinking of a Wuben tube light with the same tailcap charging port.

If I’m understanding correctly, this is a mechanical reverse-clicky switch. Tap once to go to the next mode. Tap twice within a certain period of time for SOS. That’s still likely to be really annoying.

Just recieved mine from Amazon. Bought it on 11/11 with a discount code that can be found on BLF. Took some measurements:

Zoomed in
Output: 713 lumens
CCT: 10470K
DUV: –0.0176
Ra (CRI): 73.9

Zoomed out
Output: 321 lumens
CCT: 14561K
DUV: –0.0211
Ra (CRI): 73.3

It is very CW but not super blue surprisingly given the high CCT. I will probably replace the emitter with a White Flat or SST-20 2700K. The host is very good quality and I like the simple UI and usb charge. Perfect for leaving in the car.
