The T10T V2 arrived in a padded bubble envelope with the Thrunite box inside that. The outer Thrunite box houses the metal storage case for the light and contents that come with the T10 V2.The contents include the Light itself , 2 extra O-rings , clip , user manual and the Thank you card.
This is a dual chemistry light , meaning it can work from AA (alkaline) , NiMH , or 14500 cells. It is also made from Titanium , so (in my personal opinion) looks very stylish.
The light is pretty compact and has a magnetic tail , so it can be used hands free when stuck to something metallic. The magnet holds pretty firmly on something like the rougher Refrigerator surface and especially on a flat surface , as demonstrated with the scissors and the metal Thrunite box the light came in , even through the outer cardboard box , it still holds pretty firmly.

The Clip can be attached at either end of the tube for head UP or head DOWN carry of the light. When the clip is attached at the head end of the light the T10T V2 can also be used as a headlamp. There is also an eyelet in the tailcap if you wish to attach a lanyard. The clip on this light is also made more sturdy than the original model of this light and will stay put on jeans , slacks or a ball cap with NO problem.
“Ribbing” instead of knurling is used on this one. It provides sufficient grip and I like the looks of the ribbing on this light. The threads are well cut on the tube and inside the head also. The spring inside the tube (one piece tube) looks to be well attached in the bottom.
The branding (etching) is also well done on the light. The emitter has been changed from the original T10 V2 , which had the XP-G3 and the T10T V2 now utilizes a XP-L emitter with OP reflector (pretty much perfectly centered on my sample). In the end it proves to be a much smoother beam than the original model and without the olive or greenish corona around the hotspot as the original model had.
The UI is pretty simple on the T10T V2 and is as follows……
A long press from OFF to get the Firefly mode (about 1 full second) from there a press of about 1/2 second to advance to Low mode and the same to advance to High mode from there. A quick double click gets you to the Turbo mode and from there you can get the strobe with another double click. From any mode double click to go straight to Turbo mode. To turn the light off from any mode a quick click is all that is needed. The T10T V2 will memorize the Low and High modes only and will remember which ever of those you turn the light off in.
Note When using a Lithium cell in this small light (as with most small lights) it DOES get very hot in the Turbo Mode. The light is also producing close to 4 times the output from the lithium cell that the NiMH produces. When using the NiMH cell the light gets warm , but not hot.
ThruNite does not list any run time testing for the Lithium (14500) cells , but I did my own testing with an Efest 14500 650mAh , as noted in the charts below. I did not do any official run time testing with the NiMh cell , but after using the light a good bit with the NiMH (Everyready 2450mAh) I averaged around 120 minutes. The average was across Low , High and short burst of Turbo Mode.
Another Note For those who have not already seen in some of my other post……My light box (Tube) has been calibrated with the Maukka calibrated light set and my readings from my setup are about 3% UNDER the Maukka calibrated lights.

Overall I really am liking this little light. The only suggestion I may have would be to possibly put an electronic lockout in the driver so you don’t get the parasitic drain from the E-switch. There is no way to manually lock out the solid titanium light as it is.
