Emisar D1sV2 respectively Noctigon K1

Ooooooh....SBT90.2.....even now am thinking to place it in one of present throwers just for a test.

Gorgeous work, Hank!

I’m glad to see the Noctigon name. I always liked it. :+1:

More photos, please!

Oh! that was pretty!!

If it can use a white flat, it can use an SST-20, and Hank has previously been willing to put emitters he stocks in his lights even if they’re not on the order form. SST-20 3000K should be an option. I’m aware of a couple people having special ordered the D1S with an SST-20 with a disclaimer that the emitter might burn out.

What I’m most interested in knowing right now is whether it delivers full output when the battery is low (before any low-voltage stepdown/warning/cutoff).

Same. Just sounds more…expensive. Much prefer Noctigon K1 to Emisar D1Sv2. i mean the sun would’ve already risen before you’ve completed the task of saying the name.

Any care to elaborate on the driver/ regulation? Buck/ Boost driver? Any idea of what sort of UI are we looking at? Very excited for this!!

I’m getting at least two of these for sure. SST-20 and Osram. SBT-90 would make 3. Single 21700 is a great setup for a super-thrower, while not being seriously over-encumbering.

OH, what about colors?

UI? Should be on/off
Mike

Awesome!

Any 18350 tube possible? The design looks really nice. Other colors than gray maybe?

Wow, looking sharp!

Dang, good sounding light! I am curious about the change in name from Emisar to Noctigon. I figured the Noctigon name was a thing of the past.

Looks good! Is that a stainless steel bezel?

Hank, could you add an SST20 95CRI (3000k or 3500k or 4000k) as stock light option? A lot of people is interested in this version, as I am. Big reflecter and regulated driver makes all sence for this Hi CRI throwy led.

My guess
Emisar = Linear + FET drivers.
Noctigon = Regulated drivers like M43

Since regulated and with Osram LED, which 21700 makes best sense to buy?

I was planning on the Samsung 50E for 5000mah unless someone recommends otherwise.

Here, the 50E is your best bet.

Yes, that is right.

Yes, we do the customs build, bascially,
any 3535 footprint, 3V based LED can be put into it.

Take my money!
